Ramsond introduces the new generation of Sinemate Portable Digital Inverter Gasoline Generators. Advanced engineering and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques make the Ramsond Sinemate the most reliable, sophisticated portable inverter generator in its class and one of lightest, quietest portable inverter generators available. Pure sine wave digital inverter technology delivers highly stable, constant voltage in a compact and lightweight package, ensuring the safety of sensitive equipment. The panel is also equipped with a style 12 Volt, 8.3 A DC socket for battery charging (12 Volt DC plug and wire clamps included). When turned on, the ECON button (Economy Mode) allows the generator to run at a lower idle speed to conserve gasoline. Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very easy to use, very powerful for the $ and turn key start Arrived on time by UPS. My RV trailer require, total power supply of close to 3,000 watts to run micro wave/convection oven and A/C unit. It worked great great as it charged my 2 batteries as it supplied power hungry units. It cost me 1/2 the price of competition models. Instructions were so easy to follow and it started on my 1st try. December 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Starting problem myth I am rating this generator as excellent at this point because I have absolutely no complaints. Now I must admit that I have only owned it for less than a day but will explain the high rating. I have been looking for a portable, inverter generator, for some time to power a small travel trailer with roof air (13,500btu). All the research led to a Honda or Yamaha and spending over $2,200.00 to get the features the 3500 offered for $900.00. I read all the reviews I could find on the Sinemate and the cons were mostly related to hard starting, electric start not working and not providing the necessary wattage. To those cons I can speak at this point. First, I followed the directions exactly as stated on the generator regarding the priming of the fuel system and it took two pulls to start the generator, and the reason it took TWO pulls is because I had not turned the key to the on position! Regarding the electric start, I had read that the battery needed to be charged but I do not believe that is necessarily the case. You need to remove the battery cover and plug the connectors in. Starts every time. The last issue was the wattage output. As a test, I ran the generator in the ECO mode with the A/C fan and lights on and started the compressor. The A/C lugged a little but the generator responded immediately and the compressor started. The generator is hooked to the travel trailer and is running as I write.. I guess the real issue at this point is how long it will last but as this point I am a happy camper and think the generator is a good deal for the money. March 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent workhorse of a generator I bought the Ramsond 3500 for my sailboat. After receiving it, I followed the clear directions for adding oil and gas, and priming the engine for the first time. It started flawlessly on the second easy pull. I tested it with my voltmeter, and it runs exactly as promised. Absolutely steady 120 volts. Easily runs my 14,000 btu air conditioner. The engine revs properly and proportionately as electrical demand increases, and slows when the demand decreases. The economy mode reduces revs by just a bit more. Could not be happier. Would recommend. June 21, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great price for a 3500 watt Inverter generator My generator purchase was based on watts! It had to large enough to power my fw camper, yet small enough to carry (flounder gigging). My Ramsond started on the first pull and the electric start worked, once the battery was connected and charged. I am delighted with this generator, not to mention the price was half that of it's comparable competetor. July 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product, Value, & Buy especially with Home Depot selling I took a chance two years ago when I first saw generator. It was not sold by Home Depot at the time. It is absolutely a steal of a deal if you do your homework. It is 3 time more generator at 1/2 the price of Honda. Some criticize the rating of 3500 because they do not understand the technical. The engine has 3500 Watts maximum power (they do not claim that to be generator wattage). I did upgrade the primer bulb on mine to make priming easier ( I used a Briggs Stratton #694394), but I am engineer. I love this thing so much, I fire it up once a month just to hear it run. I put a transfer switch in the house and now with my Sinemate 3500, I can run most everything I need including the two blower fans (gas heaters). But here is the best part. It is super light and has wheels with a handle!!! I carry with me on camping trips, fishing trips or anywhere power is needed. It very quiet akin to the Honda so you can sleep at night literally a few feet from it. It is a great buy, if you don't buy or said you returned one, I would like to know what you got and how much you paid? October 6, 2013
