I used this product for a transitional slope between two uneven sidewalk blocks.its feels like it has plasticity like a sticky oatmeal.sets up fast due to the grout, and the bag states its around 3000psi.dries tan color.i would recommend if your repair needs something in between mortar and precision grout, price wise and strength wise.

a rep from home depot was very nice & patience with us to show us how to use concrete mix. He mixed in a Home Depot's 5 gallon bucket and poured it in a wood square for post under my deck. It was very hot like 90's outside. Wow, very smooth & easy to mix for a short time. It was fine powder & off white color.
Very fast to dry to become solid "rock" within 30 minutes. Whoa.
It must be done asap to mix, to pour in ur project or it will be dry fast!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Flip You better work FAST !!
I just purchased a $20. bag of this mix.. It was about 78 deg. outside when I mixed it. After about 4 minutes in my cement mixer it turned to stone !! , I am now using an air chisel trying to get it out of my mixer...I think this was way to fast to set up.. Bag said 15 min. set time. It was well mixed and ready to pour when this happened..

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home It worked great but it is fast
So our first purchase ended up being a bad batch. It never set after 24 hours. The rapid set sales rep came out and verified the bad bags. Once we moved past the bad batch...the cement all worked great and super fast, and we even used the additives to slow it down. So make sure all the prep is done right...my countertops look great.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by russroberts very hard to work with
This product sets incredibly fast , uses more water than the bag claims , and is difficult to float . I used it to resurface and level parts of a basement floor and wished i used self leveling cement instead . I wasted more than one bag of this expensive stuff due to set time and one unusual case of it ceasing up after i poured it. I don't recommend this product

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Reverend CEMENT ALL BY RAPID SET - POOR RESULTS
I'm an experienced builder and purchased Rapid Sets CEMENT ALL product to top coat an old (but clean) concrete floor in thickness ranging from 1 inch to feather edge. Mixed it per instructions using 4 quarts of water per bag and a drill mounted paddle mixer. Also used one bag of Set Delay to provide more working time. I wet the old concrete surface and the mix trowel as expected. Water cured that surface for an hour as instructed. The next day, cracks appeared in the thicker, 1 inch sections. Tapping with a plastic hammer, you can hear the hollow sound in the cracked areas. The thinner sections had no problems. I'm now looking for a repair solution... The Rapid Set service tech could not determine how this happened. I won't recommend this product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dundee Strong cement for restructuring
I used this product to repair a broken corner on a concrete porch. It was easy to work with horizontally and vertically. I mixed up about 4 cups of the cement and built up the broken corner. I am going to resurface the top and sides after the corner has fully cured, which will take about 21 days. After I restructured the corner, I braced it with plywood pieces to keep the cement from sagging while it was hardening during the first 24 hours. I misted it every 15 minutes during that day and a couple of times during the next day. Before I applied the cement I wire brushed any loose concrete from the area and used my leaf blower to clean the area. The instructions said to wet the surface but not let any puddles form so I had to do that first. You will want to have everything ready before you start because you only have about 3 minutes to work with the cement before it starts to harden. If you want a smooth surface, you can use a trowel and then broom to take off the slick finish. Since I am resurfacing, I wasn't concerned with the finish at this point in my project. If you have questions, the company provides tech support by phone.
