I put three of these batteries in an LED flashlight about three weeks ago. Flashlight was used about a total of about 5 minutes at most. Flashlight didn't turn on today, so I tested the three batteries with a battery tester. Two of the batteries have about 20% power left, and the third one has almost full power left. So, the quality is very inconsistent. The cover of the batteries says "Rayovac lasts as long as Duracell". I do not believe that, and I have proof.

I am a medium hard user with a wireless microphone. I have discovered to look at the more common 'Best By Date' or some makers use date made.
I do not buy batteries without 3-4 years of 'Best By Date' or 1+ year old being 'born', from any creator. It is a function of chemistry going bad while sitting long enough.
I have good luck with this brand and Home Depot using these guidelines. Other places the markup is TOO high.

I've used Rayovac alkaline batteries for years. They are high quality. The batteries test 1.6V out of the pack, indicating that they are full charge. They last a long time, as advertised. There have been no issues. If you question a batteries quality, check the voltage over time. The price is right, as well.

It's a great value and I buy them often. Lot of things we're buying require AAA and so I keep them on hand. Fast delivery too!
