I would buy it again just as soon as someone steals this one again. I wish I could write an eloquent 1000 word essay like Mike Rowe about a shovel but alas I use shovels he probably does not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good shovel I have bought a few "Razorback" products and had to use the lifetime guarantee once which made it worth the purchase. The handle is nice the edge of the shovel is of good quality. I dug a ditch to rid my yard and field of excess rain. This shovel did an excellent job and was comfortable to use. I also used it to dig some holes for some trees. My wife enjoyed the handle of it as well when using it in the garden.

It worked out great because I needed something that could get in a narrow spot due to some underground cable near by. I was able to loosen the pole enough to pull it straight out of the ground.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Planting Potted Plants The thick wooden handle appears to be ash wood. That wood made sturdy baseball bats for many years. It will last a long time. The steel handle & shovel are made of thick steel riveted onto the ash shaft. The rivets are heavy duty as well. The real joy was in use. It goes down 16". The wife placed the plant in the exact spot for her. Place the shovel on all 4 sides of the plant to mark the location. Remove the plant & repeat the 4 sides with foot & weight pressure on the shovel then pry out the dirt plug. There will be some more light digging (to appease the wife) but there will be a perfect hole for her new plant. This job use to take 30 mins with a standard shovel. Now it takes 10 mins because of the depth of the blade.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from long blage shovel there was only one brand to choose from,so I can't compare this to others. the shovel has been used quite a bit in a few weeks and is holding up well. this replaced a shovel with a super wobbly handle
