Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best shovel I've ever used! I absolutely love this shovel! It's light weight and the foot step on is large and comfortable! I would recommend it to anyone. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Shovel My Gardner loves the shovel, because of the easy grip. Everything I buy at Home Depot is great. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SHOVEL Light weight shovel. Makes moving dirt/ gravel easy! Built to last... April 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible The steel part bent sideways trying to dig up decorative grass after only a few uses. Will never buy this brand again. May 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Razor-Back fiberglass handle spade Best spade I ever owned. Won't have to worry that the handle will ever rot. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good shovel I used this to help dig large holes for a fire border and was able to pry up limbs with it and it didn't break on me. If you have to use a shovel for leverage this one does the trick! March 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Shovel, Wonderful Customer Service I bought this shovel a little over a year ago to do some yard work. It is sturdy and well made. The shovel spade itself has an innovative extra wide foot step for pushing down on it when digging holes. It was stored in the shed for an extended period of non-use time. When I finally used it again, I found the spade part of the shovel had split during this time it was stored. I contacted the Ames Customer Service Department, who replied within 24 hours to ask for a picture of the shovel. I sent the picture, and they promptly replaced it with a brand new one at no charge within one week. Another selling feature, for me, is that it is made and assembled in the USA. In addition, it has a lifetime warranty. I am very satisfied with both the shovel and the company's excellent customer service. January 31, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality This shovel looks and feels like a very strong shovel. The shovel blade bent the very first time I used it. I have contacted the manufacturer to use the lifetime warranty. We will see if this happens. Home Depot does not warranty this product if it is more than 90 days old. June 16, 2015
