I bought this addition for my daughter's emergency car kit. Hopefully, if she ever needs it, is will reflect her body heat and keep her warm.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Audyitter Excellent for retaining body heat
I carried this with a hammock, self inflating air mattress pad, and sleeping bag down river to a riverside primitive camp site. Started the night's sleep without the mylar blanket. Temperature dropped to 42 degrees. Set the mylar under the pad, my body heat reflected kept me warm even while it rained. Super compact, almost weightless.

Have not used yet, but nice to know I have it if power goes out.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ohio440 Just what I needed...
Purchased 3 of these Emergency Survival Blankets...one for each of our vehicles.
With winter you never know if or when you may break down or have some car trouble...and stuck in the cold.
Felt good idea to have this in case it was ever needed.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ronald half transparent
It comes in a box but the actual package is palm size. Bigger disappointment is it is too thin, almost half transparent. The product picture doesn't tell that.
