A great product for those of us without a fireplace! Instant fire, no smell, no smoke, no mess. I have a log set that holds 2 cans and not only is it beautiful when lit, it will heat up a 400 sq ft room. Very handy if the power goes out :)

Easy to store, use and clean up. Provides minimal heat with the pops and crackle of a wood fire.

The gel cans warm our home quickly & the crackling sounds to resemble actual wood burning adds to the quality. We chose a gel fuel can fireplace because sometimes the electricity goes out for hours & we needed an alternate heat source without a generator. We wish the fuel cans burned longer for added value.
Usually we would order from QVC but find Home Depot to offer at comparable price with free delivery.

This is such a great product! No smell, easy to use and the heat it produces is amazing. I also love the crackle. However, the only flaw is that each can doesn't last long. About 2 hours. It would be great if they could make a denser version of this so it could last about 4 hours instead of just two. I'm glad I got the 24 pack cause these will go fast. Other than that, great product!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by BeeJay Gel fuel cans add a nice touch.
I recently purchased a hanging gel fuel fireplace. The gel fuel cans are easy to use, remove label, shake, insert & light. A can lasts 2 - 2.5 hours. They provide a nice flame, the crackle sound is nice to listen to. The cans are a bit expensive.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by July Burn fast and very smelly
The good part is- it warms up the room pretty fast , but has a bad smell of gas , makes headache in a while and doesn't leave much oxygen in the room. I had to leave the window open

It seems like this new batch doesn't burn as long and the labels are harder to take off, but while it lasts it's a nice flame.
Not sure if this is an isolated problem with this batch or a new formula or exactly what?
Time will tell...

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tj Doesn't work well in fireplace. Very expensive as you have to use a can for each fire you start.
Product isn't very good. Hard to get fireplace lit easily. Would be better if you could spread it on wood to start a fire.
