Customer Questions & Answers

Will this work on crickets?

I have a cricket inside the ceiling near the water heater and the sound is driving us crazy.
Asked by: CatLover
Yes, it works very well on crickets -- really, any bug that comes in contact with the glue board.

Will these work on Brown Recluse?

I stomped a spider that I'm almost positive is a brown recluse running across the bathroom floor. Will these work if placed say in the cupboards under the bathroom sink(s)?
Asked by: Neromak
I caught a ton of spiders on a flea trap (has a 4w to 7w light bulb over the glue board with a plastic grid over the glue and a hood over the light). The reason I'm looking at these is the manufacturer sells refill glue sheets 3 for $8. I've caught types of bugs I didn't know I had and still don't know what they are called, I just have to keep buying light bulbs and glue sheets. Now I'm trying to find the cheapest glue sheets I can use. I don't know if these will fit with my device but I can tell you for sure that spiders will get caught on a glue board if they encounter it.

Do these attract bugs or do they just catch them as they cross?

Will these work on carpet beetles?

Asked by: Teady
Yes. If a Carpet Beetle steps on this, it will go no further. Of course, you have to put the Glue Board in a location where the Beetles will walk on it, and that's out of the way of large Mammals such as people and pets.

It caught Insects that I didn't even know were in my Basement. Check out the (poorly lit) snapshot I took before I tossed my out the last one I used. Note that it even caught a Lizard. The tiny spots are probably Gnats, and there are an assortment of Spiders, Spider Crickets, Beetles, Bees and many that I don't recognize. It catches everything that lands or steps on it. And, whatever sticks seems to attract other creepy crawlies that show up to feed on the victims and join them instead. It reminds me of the La Brea Tar Pits, except that it hasn't caught a Dinosaur... yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best product ever!! I live in the Arizona desert and I get a lot of scorpions in and around my house during the spring and summer months. I hate spraying chemicals inside my house, so when I heard about these I tried them immediately. Boy oh boy do they work fantastic!!! I don't have kids or pets, so I don't have to worry about where I put them. I put them under cabinets in the kitchen and on the floor along the walls in various places in the bathrooms. I have caught 10 scorpions so far this year on these boards. I would recommend them for anyone with a scorpion problem. You can also put them in garages or outside sheds, etc. They are super easy to use, economical, and they work great!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a must have for all homes, businesses This is an absolute necessity to have in your home or business. I just discovered them last Fall, wish I'd known about them years ago (when did they come out?) Our garage is under the house, so the door gets opened up a lot, letting in all those nasty little bugs, unbeknown to me. Well, by placing the boards around the outer edges of the garage, I trap lots of harmless and sometimes, not so harmless little pests, even during the Winter No need to spray poisons that one could inhale Once a month or so, I replace the boards. I also have them in every room under the furniture where you don't see them. I'm spreading the word among all my family and friends It is so simple: lay the "glue boards", collect unwanted little insects, toss, replace with new boards. I'm surprised this company has not promoted this product more, so everyone will know about it. None of the people, I showed them to, had ever heard of these glueboards. These are so inconspicuous and so efficient. The boards are just perfect and do a nasty job right and quietly and safely to the environment. If you have pets, you have to be a little creative, and place them where the cat or dog cannot get to them. It wouldn't hurt them, but they'd get stuck on their noses, maybe. I cut the boards in half lengthwise, that's all I need in the house. In the garage I leave them whole. (spray scissors with Pam or oil, so the blades don't get sticky) Excellent product, reasonable, too. Anna

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great! Put these in the basement and bedroom closets. Caught ants, silverfish and spiders. I cut each board into smaller sections to fit in smaller spaces. No smell or dangerous chemicals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Results But What's The Catch??? I got this because I live in the basement and lately we've been getting a lot of spiders and camel crickets. The price for these was very good and the boards were rather big, which allowed us to cut them if we wanted smaller sizes. I've never tried these before, except the raid sprays, but I was looking for a more effective solution, rather than spraying a bug on the spot, then having to worry about more coming through. So I placed one by the ac unit window, and the rest remained in my room. Within days I started seeing action on the traps in my room. I didn't check the trap near the window as it meant I had to climb up to it which was a hassle: eventually I forgot about it altogether. After a month of having the traps, we decided it was time to replace them and when I checked the trap by the window, I nearly screamed with disgust! There was at least 40+ bugs trapped onto the board, that it seriously made me consider moving out! It also made me wonder if this trap attracts bugs to the board as I've never seen that many in the basement before, NEVER. Overall it's effective, but regarding whatever is in the glue, my question is if there is anything in the glue that attracts bugs.
