This is a copy of the email I sent to the company...
I recently purchased a few Real-Kill sticky spider traps due to a spider problem we're having. Hopeful to have good results, I brought them home and set them up in the areas along the walls where the spiders had been or would likely travel. They have been there several weeks and have not caught one spider on its own, which is obviously very disheartening. On a couple occasions when we saw a spider, we decided to grab the trap and simply place it in front of the spider. To our deep dismay, the spiders (yes, plural) crawled right over the 'sticky spider trap' as if nothing in there path had changed. That was very upsetting for my wife and I as we were truly hopeful that your product would solve, or at least assist in reducing, the number of spiders in our home. After this experience, we unfortunately will not be purchasing your products, nor would we recommend them. I hope things improve. Thanks anyway.

I got this because I live in the basement and lately we've been getting a lot of spiders and camel crickets. The price for these was very good and the boards were rather big, which allowed us to cut them if we wanted smaller sizes. I've never tried these before, except the raid sprays, but I was looking for a more effective solution, rather than spraying a bug on the spot, then having to worry about more coming through. So I placed one by the ac unit window, and the rest remained in my room. Within days I started seeing action on the traps in my room. I didn't check the trap near the window as it meant I had to climb up to it which was a hassle: eventually I forgot about it altogether. After a month of having the traps, we decided it was time to replace them and when I checked the trap by the window, I nearly screamed with disgust! There was at least 40+ bugs trapped onto the board, that it seriously made me consider moving out! It also made me wonder if this trap attracts bugs to the board as I've never seen that many in the basement before, NEVER. Overall it's effective, but regarding whatever is in the glue, my question is if there is anything in the glue that attracts bugs.

I saw glue boards effectively used at the office and decided to try these. After days of use, one roach was stuck to the board. The roach eventually got away. This was during a period of high activity. It appears these boards are not very sticky.

I live in the Arizona desert and I get a lot of scorpions in and around my house during the spring and summer months. I hate spraying chemicals inside my house, so when I heard about these I tried them immediately. Boy oh boy do they work fantastic!!! I don't have kids or pets, so I don't have to worry about where I put them. I put them under cabinets in the kitchen and on the floor along the walls in various places in the bathrooms. I have caught 10 scorpions so far this year on these boards. I would recommend them for anyone with a scorpion problem. You can also put them in garages or outside sheds, etc. They are super easy to use, economical, and they work great!!

I bought these sticky traps because brown widows were all over the property (and they're very prolific) so besides also spraying at night I bought these to put down at a door that has a tiny gap underneath. I only put them down at night, but a day or two after using them I was worried my dog was going to step on them when he gets up to investigate the raccoons making a ruckus outside at night.
I had tented them vertically with the sticky side against the wall behind the door figuring I might use them eventually.
THEN a week later while cleaning I was picking up the two traps to toss them while saying to myself "I don't even know why I bought these" and THEN I saw a bright tail, I flipped the other board AND IT WAS A SNAKE!
These traps - WHILE NOT EVEN LAID DOWN FOR USE - were able to snare a snake that had slithered into my home while they were standing against a wall!!
I was very surprised to say the least, I know snakes can be elusive but it would have never occurred to me to take precautions over uninvited snakes - I've never seen or would have expected them anywhere on the property, let alone inside my home.
Thank god I had these, I don't need snakes slithering around my home with my sweet little dog around.
Definitely getting that door fixed asap.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jgh76 FANTASTC FOR CAMEL CRICKETS!!
This Spring we've had a problem with camel crickets in the bathroom and kitchen so thought this product was worth a try. Have trapped 15 crickets in just 2 days!! The best part is that the boards can be cut lengthwise and slotted together providing excellent perimeter protection in narrow spaces. Apparently they feed off one another so once one gets caught on the glue more will follow.

For years I would incidentally catch crickets in the more expensive mouse and rat glue traps. I always felt that the company should make a less expensive type of glue trap for bugs. Much to my joy they did! They were able to lower the price point by eliminating the heavy duty plastic tray by substituting a cardboard base. Within hours of placing them in my basement floor crickets, especially camelback crickets were stuck in the traps. I had tried everything to eliminate them, including pesticides. Real Kill Household Boards have worked the best. I lay them flat on the basement floor. It seems as soon as one is caught others are trapped within hours. My theory is that they eat one-in-other and the trapped cricket appears to be easy prey for others. The product is environmentally friendly and uses no pesticides therefor are not toxic. By the way they are not meant for mice. Buy the heavy duty type for mice and rats. If you have bug problems and want a safe and easy way to eliminate them buy this product. You will be satisfied.
