I'm not sure how much I can say about caulk. It goes on fine and seems to work okay. I normally prefer transparent because is it more versatile.
My one complaint is that it doesn't come with a cap to close it off if you don't finish the whole tube. I never finish the whole tube at one time. In the photo you'll see my way of getting around that. Maybe Home Depot sells caps. I'll have to check that out.

I used this around my bathtub which is old and was in need of new cualking in some sections. It went on easy enough and covers well. Time will tell if it is stain blocking. Cleanup was simple, just warm water and some soap to remove the caulk that got on my fingers as I was smoothing it along the seam.

Don't know WHY I tried this product when I have used DAP for years...used this to caulk between my new granite counter tops and new back tile back splash....consistency was like melted chocolate and not like toothpaste (which I prefer to work with). Returning the rest and thought I would warn you!

I choose Red Devil Kitchen & Bath with Stain Block for its stain blocking capabilities. It can also be painted over. I used it in my kitchen sink area. The instructions were easy to follow and the bead of caulk came out nice and even. This is the first time I've used a "good" quality caulk. I'm stuck on good quality from now on. the ease of application, the mess was less, in came out in a nice stream. No air bubbles. I won't be painting it so I can't tell you about that. So, far it hasn't any mildew, don't think it will.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by gthree Difficult to apply
I haven't had it applied to my bathroom shower long enough to know the stain-fighting capability, so I can't report on that. The product comes out of the tube unevenly, kind of clumpy and the instructions say to smooth it out with a damp cloth. That didn't work for me...I used my finger to smooth it out. It takes 72 hours to dry, something you have to be prepared for. I wouldn't use this product again.

The caulking was very thin and messy to use. However, it did cover some nail holes I used it on and easily (almost too easily) flowed into the cracks I was filling.

We recently purchased this item for use in our bathroom. While the product states that it is suitable for kitchens and baths, interior and exterior use and more it is absolutely worthless. It has been less than 2 months since we used this product in our bathroom and it has recently started looking like we just put it on our bathtub. If you run your finger down it, you have caulk all over your finger. I would assume that after a month of being put in, the product would be dry, however, not the case here.
