Answer:
This Red Head Wedge anchor should not be used on treated lumber, but there is a hot-dipped galvanized version of this anchor available at Home Depot. Look for Red Head Hot Dipped Galvanized Wedge Anchor #11021 on homedepot.com. If you have additional questions, please contact our Customer Service team at 877-489-2726 from 8:00-5:00 CT Monday - Friday.

I'm hanging a cabinet into concrete. I'll need to eventually take the cabinet back off and then rehang it in the same location. Can I back these wedge anchor screws out and then put them back in the same hole?

Answer:
No. The anchors themselves are non-removable. However, the nut can easily be removed, leaving only a portion of threaded rod exposed. If you are rehanging the cabinet in the same place then you should be able to remove the nut, pull the cabinet off the wall, do whatever work you need to do, then rehang the cabinet in the same place by mounting the nut back onto the threaded rod and tightening.
