Answer:
Your propane tank must be located outside of your home (nationwide code) with a regulator. A gas line must be run to where you want the heater.

Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question. If you currently have a gas supply where you want to place the heater, than it is a simple process if you follow the instruction manual. If you will need a gas supply ran, than I recommend having a certified installer. Many plumbers or HVAC contractors are qualified. And some local gas companies do installs as well. I hope that helps.

The plumber said it was not getting gas to the pilot. Had to return to the store and have a 2nd unit installed at double the expense. It is very upsetting to have to pay to have it installed 2 times. Home Depot exchanged the unit with no hassles. I have had no problems with 2nd unit yet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Has not worked properly since having installed. Once it's lit and on it goes out on it's own. Very hard to light requires repeatedly using ignition button before you get a small spark and requires holding the dial in for at least five minutes for the pilot to fully light.
