Customer Reviews

35 in. x 60 in. Barrier Free Shower Base with Left Drain is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't try on a slab foundation This product is difficult to install on a slab foundation. You need to set and level the pan in mortar at the same time you are trying to align and connect the PVC drain line. PVC cement sets before you can get the pan properly leveled. Installation instructions say mortar should be the consistency of peanut butter. "Consistency of peanut butter" is apparently somewhat subjective. Perhaps they should suggest a specific brand of peanut butter. Ended up with voids under the pan, which I will now have to fix. Posts on different web sites suggest drilling pan, injecting adhesive and screwing through pan into slab, which I will probably try. Should have built a shower pan from scratch. Serves me right for trying to take short cut.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from shower pan and install The Redi Tile system installed and became a plus in my home since I live on the 4th floor of a condo unit. The pan has no seams went in with small modifications to the walls and plumbing. The epoxy was easy to use and dries like any other thin set. One more day and shower will be completely tiled and ready to use. Average time to install ,sheet rock and tile the entire shower 3 days.Longest time was the set time for the morter base the pan must be set into. A plus to Home Depot the 1st base came damaged and they sent me new one with a gift card for my troubles!!! :)
