Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Served Purpose as Temporary Shade
These shades are very inexpensive and serve their purpose at their low price. We bought them for temporary shades in a new house. We were concerned when we read that the sticky tape that holds them up should not be used on freshly painted surfaces. They did not do any damage to the painted window frames, but they also did not stick very long. After a few days, they fell off. We had to put them back up with carefully placed scotch tape until our regular shades arrived. We also found that to cut them to width, we could not do it with one "slicing" cut as shown in the instructions. We had to open up the shade and cut them carefully with scissors to fit.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cookiepatti Do not stick.
Needed something to cover windows in new construction home while wood blinds were being ordered. The paper blinds do not stick to the wall texture. Constantly falling down. Had to use painter's tape to hold up. Must re-tape daily. The weight of the blind pulls it off the window. They blow from the breeze of the ceiling fans making them no longer room darkening. Threw away half of them. Clips come with, so no need to buy clips as I did. No where does it state that the clips come with them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DD16 Good room darkening shades
We moved into a new house that had no window coverings so we ordered the room darkening shades to get us thru the first month or so. Easy to install after we cut to size. Looks great on all my windows!

These blinds do the job without a lot of expense. They are in a spare bedroom so basically for looks! Great value and extra set for later.

would be better if they came in different widths. adjusting isn't too difficult provided you have a sharp box cutter. they are a bit delicate-would be better if they were a tad thicker as after hanging some of them fell off. I was able to re-apply however one landed on itself sticky side down and took off some of the shade when I gently tried to unfold it.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sleepy Current Quality Not as Good
I wasn't sure if I should recommend these shades, but finally checked yes. I am using them. However, the ones I had in the past were heavy enough I only needed one shade per window. The current product is much more thin and I had to use two shades per window to get the job done. One thing that hasn't changed is the light that still creeps in around the edges.

If you want to darken a room a bit or just can't find the shades you need, these will fill the bill for awhile. They aren't glammy but look decent and clean. Easy to put up, for sure. I used these on a porch getting east and west sun. They help keep it a bit cooler and cut out a lot of unwanted blaring light from a parking lot behind me. These are great if u just moved into a home and don't have time to get curtains up. Privacy is yours' quickly with these. I kept them hanging in three rooms until I got "real" shades installed. They look OK from the outside, in case you have to comply with any condo rules.

Very happy with this product. It is easy to install. Fast delivery. Looks great. It may take a few trys to close the shades at speed. But that I guess is just a me thing.
