Got these for the kitchen since I didn't have time to get window treatments before we moved in. Love them! Super easy to cut and mount, and have not had a problem with them staying on (we stuck them to the vinyl edge of the window). I like the cords, as I cannot reach the windows over the counter to clip them up like the basic shades I got for the rest of the house. They are a bit pricier with the cords, but I really felt it was necessary for these windows. The color matches my kitchen well, also. They'll probably be up a lot longer than I planned on since they are doing the job so well and I won't feel the urgency to replace them!

Very easy to put up and they look more expensive than you would think for temporary shades.

It's exactly as described. For a temporary shade it looks great. I love the fact that it has a cord. I'm still not sure what type of shades I will purchase and these temp ones are great until I make up my mind. You honestly can't tell that they are paper shades, looks great. The only downside I think it's a little pricey for paper shades. $10 would have been great but it is as described and looks great.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JMac sturdy shade
These shades are made of a thick, sturdy, fibrous paper/fabric. I even tugged on it to see how easily it would tear; it didn't. The bottom of the shade has a plastic bar the weighs it down, keeping it neat and extended when covering the window. And it comes with a clip for holding the draw strings to one side when the shade is up. I bought the light filtering version, but really wanted more opaque or light-blocking shades (for privacy), but the "room darkening" versions were only available in black.
I bought two for my french door and one for the front door. The shades worked well at both doors. The front door has been difficult to find suitable treatment for (magnetic blinds for steel doors have weak magnets and they don't lie flush against the glass to prevent someone from peeking through the sides). This light weight shade was just what I needed. No one can peek through the sides, nor can they see through this light-filtering shade. Buyers may want to know that the draw strings come together through the center of the plastic bar at the bottom of the shade and will need to be pulled to the side when the shade is raised (thus the clip that comes with).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Yooper This shade does the job!
The shade was shipped to me in a timely manner...well packaged. Easy instructions and trimming to size was very easy to, as they have a measuring device built in on both sides of the blind, so you can trim to desired size without worry and can easily remove the measuring device after you have trimmed both sides. Simple to hang, too! Total time less than 10 minutes. It's holding up just fine...just need to be gentle when opening and closing with the blind cord. I have a 1930s door that opens up to a 3 season porch, and it has a 18" x 30" glass in the upper half of the door, so couldn't figure out a good solution for a window covering until I stumbled upon this shade...glad I did!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by drkmttr Fit the space; Inexpensive solution
Nicer, more expensive cell and pleated shades require more depth for installation than available and would make it impossible to remove the window screens.
This fit the space and provides the privacy needed.
One note: do not trust the adhesive rulers on the bottom of the shade to make your cuts. I am a "measure twice; cut once" person, but made the mistake of measuring only my window twice and trusting the scale on the shade. Had to make additional trims so that it fit.

Brought blinds in to home depot to have professionally trimmed to the needed width. Very easy peel and stick installation. The fabric blinds tend to buckle a bit when they go up vs simply compressing at the folds but othewise a great and inexpesive solution for privacy for a place I only will rent short term

This is a replacement for the same one that we've had for over 3 years. They work great and if you take care of them, they will last a long time.
