Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Product performs exactly like I expected! I wanted a light blocking blind in my guest room for comfortable sleeping but did not want it be "permanent" so when I don't have guests in the guest room, I simply fold the blind up and it folds less than an inch thick and clip it to the top of the window. SInce it is white, it is not noticeable, especially because I have a drapery on the window, too. I am very pleased with this purchase. Not sure I would call the material "fabric" as it more like a heavy paper not cloth-like. July 8, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Been using these shades for years I've used all versions of these shades for years....corded, clipped, paper, fabric...and all of them have worked very well for me. Recently ordered all new light blocking with cords and they are great! I only had to get new ones because full sun on my windows made the paper ones start falling apart...after THREE YEARS! I find these to be a great value. August 23, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Blocks light well, easy to install. I bought several and one keeps falling off the tape. :-\ April 30, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by You get what you pay for! Wow...I guess these do prove the adage that you get what you pay for. I ordered 8 of these as an inexpensive window covering alternative to wood blinds. Honestly? I'd rather just tack sheets up on my windows. I opened one box after they arrived and they are so cheap I didn't even bother with trying to put one up to see how it looked. I just sealed the box and returned them. The description says the blinds are fabric but I don't believe it. It looks like paper and feels like paper. There's no way to raise them except by manually lifting them up and securing them with cheesy looking bag clips. And even though they are supposedly easy to trim to custom size, I'm pretty sure you'd end up with a ragged edge. Yeah, not so much goodness in my opinion. May 17, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I have them at most windows with the cord. I went today and no cord They will not be convenient to pull up and down without cord, also I like the material on the gray color sunout, have those in patio ,would like that same one in white for in the house. The cats have torn the one on the french door, too thin :) the soft gray are sturdy. Thanks May 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product These shades are nice, easy, cost effective and do the job well. It blocks out the light as promised. Very easy to install. I put it in an odd shaped window that I had no idea what to do with. This seems to be a good fix. The clips don't stay on. I do not pull up the shade so it does not matter to me but if u are looking for a shade that can be adjusted then this is not for you. April 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by They look good and do the job. With no money left after a home renovation, these shades have worked out great. They look good from inside and outside and keep the bedrooms dark. It took about 1.5 hours to cut (I used a box cutter) and install shades in 20 windows. April 2, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by First Impressions I just finished mounting 9 of these blinds today in my screen house. The average size of my windows were 42" wide and 52" tall. PROS: *They do block the light. *Installation with the simple peel and stick double sided tape is quick and easy. *I used a box knife that cut the blinds to an exact length very nicely with a half dozen controled cuts. *Nice for the price and my purpose for blinds for a screen house. CONS: *They come with the clips that are supposed to hold them open. They are too small and too weak to do the job. After mounting my blinds, I used the clips to try to hold them open. They would pop off in 30 seconds. No number of clips would secure them open because they would literally pop off. I made velcro straps to hold them open. *They would not close or cover my 52" tall windows. They would hang about 42" down. Pulling them down about a foot or so below my window sill helped, but they would not stay down on their own. I'm hoping with time they will stretch or I will use velcro dots to hold them down. *You cannot open them by simply grabbing them by the bottom and lift. The accordian folds will not close very easily and they will bow out and flop so you have to guide and fold them up. It's a little effort, and it's not as easy as simply pulling a cord or such. *I would not use these as my house blinds. Knowing what I do now, I would still buy them for the screenhouse because they are cheap for what I wanted., I plan to use velcro or other tricks to make them work. I would be sadly disappointed if I had bought them for my house. April 23, 2011
