I looked at the specifications and I don't see anything about how strong this shelving is and how best to support it to prevent bending. If I place a strip along the wall so there is continuous support for the back edge, then what is the recommended spacing for adequate shelf bracket support? If I rip the shelving so it is only 12" wide instead of 15 1/4", what is the recommended spacing? For how many pounds (or kilos) per running foot (or meter) of shelf? I want to know if I store 10 lbs per running foot, 20 lbs per running foot, or more -- WHAT ARE THE RECOMMENDATIONS? And if this shelving turns out to be not strong enough, how do I find out the same answers for various plywood choices?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pantry Shelving I bought this when we remodeled my pantry and it turned out to be a beautiful fit. When we cut the shelves, they cut clean with no chips. December 23, 2014
