Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 33 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very well made ball mount I have four different trailers, and it seems I was constantly switching trailer balls due to different hitch sizes on different trailers. I saw this and thought it would be much easier and simpler than keeping three different ball mounts for my receiver hitch, and it is that. To change ball sizes it’s simply a matter of pulling a pin, rotating the mount to correct size ball, and reinserting the pin. One issue I did have was not the fault of the ball mount. Due to have three different balls on one mount, the balls are on TOP of the mount when in the receiver, effectively raising each ball 2 inches higher than with a single ball mount. It was only a problem with a short utility trailer, making the tongue high and the tailgate too low for safe towing. It is not an issue with my pontoon trailer or my 16 and 18 foot flatbed trailers. The finish and welding on this is first class. The welds are all even and smooth, the pin holes are perfectly sized and even. Overall a high quality hitch, just keep in mind the added ball height. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by really handy I tow the family PWC quite often which uses the smaller 1.875" ball. Got the PWC on the water this weekend, but first I had to get some work done. Earlier that day, I rented a sod cutter on a trailer and the trailer, like most rental equipment uses a 2" ball. The next day, rented a dump trailer to haul a few trips of pea gravel. The hitch performed wonderfully and is easy to switch from one ball size to the next. Highly recommended for usefulness. As others have stated, its a handy device to keep on the vehicle or in the tool box. I like the nickel plated finish, which will look better a little longer - its a good looking finish too. One wish I had on the design was to have the largest 2.3125" ball not on the center location for aesthetics purposes. I would leave it on my SUV but don't care for the looks of the branding and ball location sideways. Maybe the 2" could be the center one- seems like that's the most popular size. Anyway- it was useful this weekend and has earned top ratings for all it did. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Multi purpose trailer hitch This black nickel tri-ball hitch looks great on my Black 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. I'm ready to haul 3 different size trailer hook ups but mostly use the 1-7/8 size. It is easy to change sizes by turning to the size you need to use and sliding back into the receiver on my trailer hitch. I went ahead and purchased a matching black chrome lock for it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Three Beautiful Hitch Balls This tri-ball 2 inch receiver hitch is ideal for my tractors 3-point hitch which I can easily adjust up and down with the rockshaft. Having three trailers with the 1-7/8 in., 2 in., and 2-5/16 in. couplings are sometimes a pain to move when I have to change out balls. This black nickel finish looks nicer than the black painted balls. I can't tell how long this finish will last before it wears and rusts. Only my stainless balls hold up to the wear and weather, but ss is way to pricy anymore. I can't use this straight 3-ball on my Suburban vehicles because they require an 8 in. drop to level the standard 18 in. ground to trailer coupling center. June 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by qwesome Black Nickel Tri Ball! Great Black Nickel Tri-Ball with three different sizes for most common hitches! The black nickel finish is sharp and no more swapping out balls for different needs! Simply, pull out pin and rotate to whatever size you need. The straight fit is good for most inserts, however could be a bit high if bumper is higher and trailer hookup is lower, but all in all a great product! August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Heavy and sturdy This hitch is extremely heavy! It has three different sizes to choose from so it works with a variety of trailers. The only problem is that mine didn't come with a pin. Luckily I already had one, but it's useless without it so make sure you purchase one. The black nickel color is attractive and doesn't get as dirty as the standard silver. I've used mine 3 times and so far it's stayed pretty clean and shiny. It's a pretty simple product, so there's not much to say except that it works! July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by strong This is a great universal hitch. This switches from 1 7/8th, 2 inch, and 2 5/16th'. It switches over very easily with just a simple flip of the receiver. I use this for pulling a 2 ' car hauler as well as my 2 5/16th enclosed trailer with plenty of clearance. I am very happy with this and would highly recommend getting this tri ball especially if you haul a few different things as I do. June 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Attention to Detail Pro grade hitch. Have used Reese products for years and have always been pleased with their performance and durability. The tri ball design is handy if you tow trailers with different ball sizes and saves space in my truck. I tow a dump trailer with the 2 5/16 inch (10,000lb. rating) and use the small 1 7/8 for towing my jet skis. Nickel construction should reduce rust and adds to the look if things like that are important. Reese products are professional grade and hold up to extreme abuse.Word of caution..use a locking pin because this will disappear. June 18, 2016
