Product Overview

Reese Towpower InterLock hitch balls have a patented hex design which allows for a one-wrench tightening system when used with a Reese InterLock ball mount. It makes for installing the hitch ball more efficient, and prevents marring of the hitch ball. It is not limited for use with the InterLock ball mount, and can be used with any standard ball mounts.

Customer Questions & Answers

what size wrench for holding top nut while tighting bottom nut

Asked by: barshi
You don't need it if you buy the interlock hitch. You just hold it into the interlock recess and tighten it.

How do i know it will be the right size?

Example: I have looked at the manual and can't figure out what I did wrong.
Asked by: Kathy
Which size? - ball size is determined by the "ball-receiver" on what you are towing. - stud/post size is determined by the hole in your hitch/bumper (can be measured with a ruler - usually 3/4" or 1").

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits the draw bar nicely The right size ball for my trailer needs. Fit's their special draw bar nicely in the hexagon shaped recess which means no pipe wrench needed to hold the ball tight while you lock the nut/washer in place. One less tool to carry or need when changing balls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Home Depot service The hitch was simple to assemble and is working. What made it such a great purchase, however was the outstanding service at Home Depot. At 2 am while towiing a boat, I noticed that the nut had come off of our old hitch (yikes!!). Home Depot happened to be across the street from the gas station where the discovery occurred. So we camped in Home Depot's parking lot until morning when the store opened, and attempted to find a replacement nut. I mentioned what had occurred to the sweet women there and she told me to figure out which one would fit and then come and pay. There were a couple trips in and out of the store, but the old ball was stripped, etc. I decided to just buy a new ball (with fitting nut) for about $10.
