Answer:
This inserts into a 2" hitch receiver that should already be attached to the frame of the tow vehicle. If you do not have a tow package with the hitch receiver, this will not work for you.

Towing Tri-Ball Ball Mount is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect solution for multiple hitch ball sizes If you have many sizes of trailer, and don't want to juggle different hitch balls, this is the solution. The hitch balls are welded on, not held on with a nut, which makes them impossible to lose. The instructions caution you to grease the ball -- if it gets bound up, something is going to snap, but fortunately this is pretty hard to do in use. Grease it and you'll have no problem. A minor complaint -- the finishing quality was a little off. There were multiple burrs left inside from the drill process, all duly coated with black paint. Make sure you get a hitch pin. A pin is not included with this item (it's also available from Home Depot, and not expensive.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great towing accessory This tri-ball ball mount is an excellent acessory for our Chevy HD pickup truck as we have 2 different trailers. The tr-ball eliminates the need to remove and install different size hitch balls for heavy load trailers and light ones. The ball mount also has 4 holes for the quick release pin which saves time out in the field jobs. Reese is a excellent quality maker of other hitch products and this one is well made. This product also is coated to minimize rust and heavy use abuse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best ball mount to have This ball mount makes it easy to go from using a small one axle trailer to haul your lawnmower in to a larger trailer hauling your four wheelers or an even larger ball to haul your recreational vehicle or a car hauler. Its durable design and engineering makes it a part of your vehicle for years to come. It will fit any class II hitch. Its pin holes are drilled properly as to not have any play but yet still easy to remove and insert easily

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hitch Great hitch with three different size balls to choose from, cant go wrong with this one. Fits into receiver nicely but I had to use a receiver reducer which is not an issue for me. Very well constructed, looks good also, so far no issue with paint coming off but you can expect the paint to come off the ball with use. I expect to get years of use from this hitch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value, Fabulous Quality Tri-ball Great Value, Fabulous Quality Tri-ball mount. Good standard sizes, heavy quality finish on the unit. It fits well, and is complete for all my towing needs. The strength chart for maximums for each size is a great idea, as is the superior quality finish which should stop any rust issues. Fits most sized hitches, and ideal for my truck, leaving safe towing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reese, Towing accessory Kings! I was tired of switching hitches, trailer balls, etc. for the different size hitches that I have on all of my towable items, so as soon as I saw the name REESE - I knew it had to be a good product. After receiving the item I was right. This Tri-Ball mount was exactly what I needed. Just flip it to the correct ball size for your towing needs. This item slips in and out of the towing receiver on my truck with ease and is coated with a long lasting rust resistant finish. Another GEM - offered by Home Depot

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The work of 3 in 1 This hitch receiver does the work of three in one. It is extremely convenient. I use all three sizes for various trailers that I tow at times. The balls are welded onto the receiver with nice clean tight welds, and the powder coated finish looks too pretty to hook trailers up to. I tow my camp trailer with tow bars for distances, so it is really nice to have a small hitch to attach to when re-positioning my trailer or pulling it out for a quick power wash. High quality product from a very reputable company in the industry of towing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from handy Three balls in one, what more could you need? Technically there is room for a 4th ball, I just don't know if there are four ball sizes. The hitch seems extremely sturdy. The casting and the welds on the individual balls seems to be done very well. It does not come with a hitch pin so you will need to purchase one of those separately. Also to note, if your vehicle is rather tall this may not work for a long haul as there is no offset slope with this style of hitch. I will mainly use this for when i need to help someone move some stuff around and they don't know what size ball I need to bring.
