This is the best way to have the right ball when towing different trailers. I have one trailer with a 2" ball, one trailer with a 1-5/8" ball, and who knows what size I may need in the furture.
I had one hitch and two balls, which meant I had to switch them out everytime I changed trailers.
I thought about buying another hitch so I would only have to change the hitch but for just a little more I was able to get the Tri-Ball. Now I have the two sizes I use most and a third one in case I run accross one of those small htiches.
I have included a photo showing the Tri-Ball as compared to an every day hitch and the second ball.
The only drawback I found was that if you are using a hitch that raises or lowers the ball height, the Tri-Ball sits level with the receiver. So if you must raise or lower your hitch, you will need to stay with a conventional hitch.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NJ5J Great tow hitch with three sizes built in
This is a strong, powerful, useful towing hitch. Heavy and easy to attach to your vehicle. Can use it to tow up to 10,000 pounds. All black and slick looking. Looks like a quality product like used to be made decades ago - built to last. Reminds me of a blacksmith's anvil! What is cool is that it comes in three sizes so you do not need to buy any additional ones - this has them all covered. I really like that it is heavy and looks like it belongs on a tank! Attaches with a 5/16" pin. There ya go!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gallus Perfect solution for multiple hitch ball sizes
If you have many sizes of trailer, and don't want to juggle different hitch balls, this is the solution. The hitch balls are welded on, not held on with a nut, which makes them impossible to lose. The instructions caution you to grease the ball -- if it gets bound up, something is going to snap, but fortunately this is pretty hard to do in use. Grease it and you'll have no problem. A minor complaint -- the finishing quality was a little off. There were multiple burrs left inside from the drill process, all duly coated with black paint. Make sure you get a hitch pin. A pin is not included with this item (it's also available from Home Depot, and not expensive.)

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by medic1112 The best ball mount to have
This ball mount makes it easy to go from using a small one axle trailer to haul your lawnmower in to a larger trailer hauling your four wheelers or an even larger ball to haul your recreational vehicle or a car hauler. Its durable design and engineering makes it a part of your vehicle for years to come. It will fit any class II hitch. Its pin holes are drilled properly as to not have any play but yet still easy to remove and insert easily

This Reese Towing Tri-Ball Ball Mount is 3 Hitches in one. It h as a 1 7/8" ball, a 2" ball and a 2 5/16" ball. It's all forged in one piece .No need for wrenches or nuts and lock washers. It is very well made and very strong. It's nice not having to carry three different hitches around. Just simply unhook hitch pin and rotate to the size you need and put pin back in. It's that simple.

Three balls in one, what more could you need? Technically there is room for a 4th ball, I just don't know if there are four ball sizes. The hitch seems extremely sturdy. The casting and the welds on the individual balls seems to be done very well. It does not come with a hitch pin so you will need to purchase one of those separately. Also to note, if your vehicle is rather tall this may not work for a long haul as there is no offset slope with this style of hitch. I will mainly use this for when i need to help someone move some stuff around and they don't know what size ball I need to bring.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MiketheChiefsman Just might be the last Ball Mount you ever purchase
I like the 3 in 1 approach. This pretty much guarantees you are covered regardless of what you are towing. It’s not a good feeling when you are lacking the proper equipment to help a buddy or yourself, for that matter.
After my inspection, I found the quality of the ball mount to be good. The welds are strong and done correctly. The entire unit feels and looks durable.
Get yourself a pin and clip if you don't already have one. I like the locking ones that will at least slow down if not completely deter a thief.
I am happy with this and recommend it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mamajane1234 Great for different trailers
We have three boat trailers and a lawn mower trailer. They have different size balls. With this trailer hitch system, we can pull a wide range of trailers. Just rotate the hitch to get a different size ball. This is a great product. The black finish looks scratch resistant. It is heavy and solid. It fits a 2” receiver. You use a ⅝” pin and clip to attach the ball mount to the receiver. This is going to make my life so much easier because we’ll always be able to find the right ball!!
