Answer:
Yes, if your generator is set up with a 50 AMP breaker as in the GP 17,500 generator. The additional wattage supplied by your generator is provided through other outlets on the generator.

Answer:
The maximum generator size that can be used with the PB50 inlet box is 12500 running watts, or 50 amps at 250 volts. If your generator has a 50 amp (or smaller) circuit breaker on the output you can use this inlet box. If you don't have a circuit breaker that limits the output to 50 amps or less then you will need a larger power inlet.

Answer:
Yes, you could supply power to two panels from one power inlet box as long as you have the appropriate transfer switches in place to prevent backfeeding from the utility.

While I am not sure I understand your question, I can tell you that this inlet box is designed to be a pass through to a manual transfer switch located inside the building. The outlet “box” on a portable generator has numerous options for plugging in cords, but please keep in mind not to draw more power than your generator can provide.
I hope this helps,

I PURCHASED A GENERAC 25' 50 AMP POWER CORD WITH THE THE CS6364 FEMALE CONNECTOR ON THE END. i ALSO PURCHASED A RELAINCE PB50 INLET BOX. THIS BOX HAS THE CS 6365 MALE INLET BUT I CANNOT GET THE CORD TO PLUG IN. THE THREE PRONGS LOOK RIGHT, THE ONLY THING THAT MAY BE A PROBLEM IS THE METAL BAR ON THE SIDE, IT MAY BE HITTING THE CONNECTOR ON THE INSIDE OF THE MALE INLET . IN THE DETAILS ON THE HOME DEPOT WEBSITE, IT STATES AT THE BOTTOM UNDER OTHER DETAILS THAT THIS PLUG IS FOR THE CS6365 CONFIGURATION BUT IT DOES NOT FIT.

Answer:
I'm having the exact same issue as I write this. Generac generator cable that doesn't fit into this Reliance power inlet box. I called Reliance and they said it should fit also but there's something that prevents the plug from going all the way in. I'm having to buy and install another power inlet box from another manufacturer to get my generator set up complete. I'd avoid this model of inlet box.

Answer:
These two parts should work together. I can't determine if the problem is with the cord end or the inlet with the information provided. If it turns out to be the inlet please contact Reliance Controls customer service for a replacement.
