This Power Inlet Kit permits fast connection of a portable generator of up to 12,500 running Watts to a manual transfer panel or generator-ready load center. Suitable for installation into 2-1/2 - in. knockout on any indoor or outdoor panel. The CS6365 configuration is rated 50 Amps at 125/250 Volts and matches the Reliance model LL550C cord connector.

What power cord do I need with a PK50 inlet kit?

Answer: 
The connector that fits the PK50 inlet is Reliance Controls part no. LL550C, HomeDepot.com internet no. 202216505. You will need to assemble a cord with this connector on one end and the appropriate generator plug on the other end.

Answer: 
Most installers would use 8 AWG wire (4 conductors) with this power inlet. However, electrical codes vary from state to state and you should check with your local authorities. The PK30 would use a 10 AWG wire.
