Customer Reviews

2-7/8 in. Fine Grit Carbide Grit Jig Saw Blade with Universal Shank is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the price This blade didn't even cut a thin piece of ceramic. All the carbide in the cutting area of the blade was gone after about a 1/16" cut. Not worth it. I tried it on soft metal, same thing. At this rate I would have to buy them in bulk but not worth the price. Probably good for fiberglass material but then you have the regular blades for that and much cheaper. The ad on the package is very misleading. Very disappointed in a Remington product such as these blades which according to the packaging, was made in the USA. I tried fine grit as well as medium grit at slow speed and they failed shortly after starting the cut. I've used these blades when they first came out and they were much more durable, and they actually cut with no problem. Somebody changed the formula along the way!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very robust Blades were not suited to cutting very light aluminum. They are rated for heavy plastics but most blades of this level will cut some soft metals. Not these. I would recommend them only for high-pressure laminates (Formica) and anything very thin and soft. Remember with carbide blades that your saw cut is going to be very wide though.
