Questions & Answers

Where can I purchase a pole for my 14 in remington saw. How much???

Asked by: ZEEMAN
I don't believe the pole is sold alone. I believe you must purchase the 10" saw that comes with a pole. I purchase a 14 inch one about a year ago, and I searched high and low to no avail. So I bought the 10" one which came with a pole which will accommodate the 14 inch saw as well.

What type of plug should I use at the extension cord end?

I have 100ft 12 gauge extension cord with standard plug. Will this fit nicely to the plug that the chainsaw has?
Asked by: Wai
I use a regular plug.

Can I use a 50 inch extension cord with this

Asked by: Vivian
Yes, the saw is 8 amps, so a 16 gauge or thicker cord will work fine

Light weight, cuts good and easy to handle for someone who has back problems and carpal tunnel. I tried to upload a picture from my phone but was not able to. I wanted you to see how much wood this 65 year old woman cut in a few minutes with this saw. Worth the cost as it would have cost me as much to hire someone to do it and now I can do it whenever I have limbs to fall from the tree.

I use it around the yard a lot and the only problems I have I have run into is inherent difficulties while dealing with a power cord and the bar oil reservoir leaks when the saw is hung bar down. It is a pretty simple device to use and was a little weird when using at first because I am used to gas. It is light and easy to maneuver. If you occasionally need a chain saw for small jobs and want low maintenance, long-lasting, this product is for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Little Saw LIghtweight easy to handle, seems to make its way through as much 10-12" diameter tree limbs although these can be somewhat tougher than your average limb.

Works with over 100 feet of 12 gauge outdoor extension cord 4. No messing with gas and oil mixture, so easy start and less fuss 5. Light weight 6. Chain is easy to adjust with 7/16 wrench and flat blade screwdriver 7. Been used for about a total of two hours 8. Inexpensive compared to gas power same size saw.

I replace the chain every year. It's light weight. Good to use in tight spots. I have climb trees and used only one hand sawing limbs. I have used it on large trees 12 inches in diameter. I have used it to cut 2x4's , 2x12's lumber to build things around the house. I have used it to cut 4 x4's for landscaping timber. Just keep it oiled and replace the chain. Its easy to take apart and clean. Just love it.

It is light weight chainsaw for a light weight job which is what I expected. What I did not expect is the equipment did not come with a little bottle of oil. In addition, there is no obvious warning that the equipment is dry. Fortunately, I read the manual first, and had to get oil before I could start my plan. It is more effective than a reciprocating saw for cutting or pruning trees, and the price is good, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing little cutter that could... This saw has proved great for clearing a neglect area over-run with weed trees. It whipped through dozens without complaint. It's light weight and easy to slip in between those clumps -- both higher up and close to the ground. Best of all, the price was great!
