Product Overview

Repellex USA is proud to introduce our new systemic animal repellent to the market. This exclusive breakthrough technology allows capsaicin (hot pepper) to be absorbed into the plant by simply planting a tablet next to a growing plants root system. Once the repellent is absorbed over 7-30 days, the repellent will stay active for up to one whole year. Since the repellent is internally treating the plant, it will not wash off in the rain like traditional repellents do over time. This repellent is labeled and approved for repelling: deer, rabbits, moles, voles, gophers, groundhogs, dogs, cats and feral hogs. During the initial uptake time it is recommended to apply Repellex Original Deer and Rabbit Repellent to treat unprotected foliage while the systemic repellent is absorbed and reaching an effect repellency level. This repellent is not intended on food or feed crops. Avoid contact of pesticide with roots, foliage, stems and fruits of all crops intended for consumption because unpleasant taste will result. One 150 count bottle of Repellex Systemic Tablets will treat approximately 75-120 plants 12 in. tall. The number of tablets needed to treat a plant varies by height and width. Apply 1 tablet for every foot of plant height and width (height +width). Application amounts may vary by plant type and growth rate. In season reapplications may be necessary with very fast growing plants.

  • New systemic animal repellent technology

  • Active ingredient capsaicin (hot pepper) makes plants tastes
  • No mess or bad smell when applied

I see a lot of people use this for deer but I am interested in using these for my vole problem. Just wanted to see if anyone had positive results with repelling vole.
Thanks!

I'm looking for something to keep the neighbor's dog from defecating in my back yard.
This sounds good, but does it work to keep dogs at bay?

Answer:
It's not really what you want to use, try our dog and cat repellent available through Home Depot.com, it's available in both a spray and a granular

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Systemic Deer Repellent Not The Most Effective Solution I bought 2 bottles and started dosing my plants as soon as they began to awaken from dormancy. It seemed to help for a while but eventually plants the resident deer had already eaten in prior years were damaged; hosta and hollyhocks were destroyed while wild geranium, wild ginger and black eyed susans and others had a lot of tender foliage eaten. Since it seemed to help slow them down I might try it again next year but will continue to double down with other treatments such as granular repellents when it's rainy and Liquid Fence. July 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Part of my effective (so far) deer-proofing strategy I have used this in combination with some other methods to protect my large rose garden in the mountains of north Georgia (many deer here!). I am not ready to use it as my only means of deterrence, but it was the first one I applied this year, and it does seem to be effective. I do not recommend this for very small or fragile plants, because a couple of my smaller, weaker roses died after I applied it. But the others are all doing well, and nobody has been eaten yet. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy and effective as a backup I still use the spray but as a backup on days when the spray has washed off, or new leaves have grown in, or when the deer are particularly assertive, these tablets seem to help. The tablets were nice and hard and easy to push into the soil around my hostas. Tthe deer have to nibble at least one leaf to get the idea that this particular kind of plant is not tasty but after that they have stayed away for the rest of the season. I push the tablets in immediately, when the hosta shoots first emerge from the ground in the springtime. May 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This stuff actually works! It works. Nothing else we've tried is nearly as good. What else is there to say? August 11, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tried everything for bunnies It is still inconclusive but I think that these pellets are better than any of the sprays that we have used from all makers so far. It does take a while to work as it states in the directions, however we have less rabbit damage than before. We did use the spay from the same brand and still had damage after about a day. I did want to mention that this is not to be used near food. One of the other reviews mentioned using it there and it specifically says do not use near edible gardens. We used this on small perennials, burning bushes, grasses, honeysuckle, pussywillows and day lilies. July 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best deer and rabbit deterrant I have tried every animal repellant on the market. This worked by far the best, was easy to use, and longest lasting. My shrubs that had been eaten almost to the ground are now flourishing. I will use it again in the fall to protect the stems over the winter. It is a systemic product which is absolute genius- no missed leaves or wash off from the rain. July 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EFFECTIVE DEER REPELLENT Pellets are easy to use and are quite effective against deer August 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far product has worked well. I am extremely happy with the animal repellent tablets. We live in an area with tons of deer and I have had a major problem keeping them from eating my flowers. I have tried multiple things over the years, but the deer keep coming. Thus far this summer all of my flowers are still blooming beautifully. Seems this product works!!! August 1, 2012
