Customer Questions & Answers

Is there a weight limit on this?

one side would be for someone over 450 lbs.
Asked by: frustrated
If there is I haven't reached it. I have had up to 1,000 LBS on it at one time and it doesn't even show any signs of structural failure or compromise.

will this frame work with 2 twin box springs and 2 twin mattresses?

Asked by: srdr1234
Yes (2 separate pieces); if you set it up as a king size, there are two connectors in the middle to keep it secure. I would think you could use it for two twin beds (separate). Our box spring is 2 twin size with a king mattress on top.

height adjustment/ movement

Would like to know if you can add additional bed legs to make higher also how do or what can use to keep mattresse in place
Asked by: fcooki
Nope unless you manufacture something of your own like blocks of wood which wouldn't hurt it at all. I used sheets of plywood I cut and placed over the frame and for the most part it doesn't move.

Easy set up (within 5 minutes), sturdy and with our box spring/mattress on top, it's quiet and provides restful sleep. Ensure once you set it up to check that the wing nuts are secure (we had one that was loose once we set it up and flipped the frame over (tightened the wing nut) before topping with the mattress). Plenty of room under the bed frame for storage (12" high storage bins with a lid seem to fit). If you use a box spring/mattress, bed is taller than normal. I recommend this product.

Easy to set up, very sturdy and silent when being used. We are using it inside a sleigh bed frame with weak side rails. It has worked perfectly for the purpose of keeping our old wood bed but removing all weight from it. We are using it with the mattress only, no box springs. After a week , I am very happy with the bed frame. I would only give 3 stars for the delivery time (2 weeks to my store). 1 star for packaging, it was damaged. The box had been dropped and the frame is dented on one end. Two of the wires are bent and a butterfly screw was missing. I had an old bolt on hand that I used. I was able to make it work but it was disappointing to pay that much for a damaged item. I waited too long and its too big to return so I will keep it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value This frame is as discribed. Very easy to set up. Perfect if you have a tight staircase to go up. It came folded in two sections that can be carried without having to find help. It eliminates th hassle of box springs without sacrificing any comfort or appearance. The only negative I could find is that it sticks out past my mattress about 2 inches on the sides, but not really noticeable after bed is all made up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Sturdy but Quite Noisy I'm not sure you will ever really be able to find a frame that won't make a bunch of noises unless you get an old boxspring or something with slats. I'm not a huge fan of this. One of the support feet is right in the middle of the thing and I've stubbed my toes on it enough times to want to get rid of it. If you use a skirt you forget it is there and that makes for sore toes in the future. Pass on this one is my suggestion. I added plywood on top as our bed requires less than 2" of space between the wires and this one didn't meet that standard. I'll say this- it has held over 1,000 lbs at one time with no structural issues!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Strong This bed frame was easy to put together. It is very strong. Please note that it sits VERY high, but this may also be because we have the box spring and the mattress sitting on top. It is not pretty at all, but we don't mind. Eventually we will get a long bedskirt to cover it. All-in-all, we are very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Execellent Bed frame beats the $500 boxspring from bed manufacture Really a great buy , adds extra underbed storage and is very sturdy and makes the bed feel like new. great support. I weight 295 lb and my wife is well less then half of what I weight and the bed holds us with no problems .
