1- I ruined my knees applying the product, it is thick like mud.
2- Within 2 weeks, it was bubbling and peeling off.
3- Now it is partially chipped off- I will have to reboard the entire deck- there is no way to refinish and other than complete sanding through the layers, no way to remove the part that stuck.
I have NEVER seen a worse product- I am so disappointed in Rustoleum, their R & D and their marketing dept for not pulling this product. Get a good stain instead.
BTW- I complained to Rustoleum and they had Home Depot refund my full purchase price. That doesn't solve my ruined knees or the refinish issues but I did get my money back.

getting ready to strip off remaining 600 sq ft of coating. Very poor adhesion even after thorough power washing. Boards were apparently not rough enough?? 8 year old deck. Beware this product

Totally agree with other comments related to this product. I viewed the application youtube followed the directions for surface preparation, application (applied the recommended two coats). Seven months later the product is peeling off the deck in chunks, one need only rub your shoe against the deck and the product will come off. About the only thing positive about the product is it the removal will be fairly easy, a strong wind with some will probably remove 90% of it.

Power-washed weathered unsealed PT wooden deck that had moderate grain wear and cracks.. Let dry for two weeks of no rain. Applied Restore per directions summer 2013. Looked great at first. By March 2014, 40% was peeling. Using my shoe to scuff non-peeling area, it came off in pieces 16" long and full width (5 1/2") of boards. Only about 25% did not come off. Tried re-applying over scraped and power-sanded failed area. Color match was not even close. Waiting to see if second treatment on bare sanded wood works better. May work OK on heavily sanded bare wood without grain variation, but the selling point was that it bridged and sealed cracks up to 1/4".

I prepped my deck with 2 power washings and then scraped off all of the loose stain. I applied the product as recommended. It looked great for the remainder of the summer and fall. During the cold winter months in upstate NY, it began to lift off of the deck. It is now spring and it is peeling off everywhere, even where I scraped down to bare wood. This is the worst product that I have ever used. I have a huge 3 tier deck that required almost 40 gallons. I spent weeks on this project - all for nothing but aggravation. Now I am left with the task of scraping the rest off. What a nightmare.
