Answer:
Yes, Deck & Concrete Restore holds up very well in cold climates. The slip resistant surface is great in the winter months! We do recommend using less aggressive snow melts and a plastic shovel instead of a metal one to avoid scratching the surface.

Hi, my name is James and I just finished rebuiding my deck with pre treated lumber from HomeDepot. I planned to use the Restore product in order to extend the life of my deck. My deck's deminsions are currently 25x16. I've read some of the other comments about this product and would like to know how easy or difficult it will be to do this myself. I know how to paint. Will this experience be enough to accomplish applying the Restore product and having great results?

It's easy to apply. I used the special roller to give it a rougher texture to make it a more non-slip surface. I applied it to untreated plywood so check the instructions or ask about applying it to pre- treated lumber. If you mean pressure treated lumber, ask the expert in the paint department.?

Hi Donna,
It should last for years if applied properly. If it is still sticking tightly to the surface you should not need to remove it before repainting. If it has come loose or peels off easily then remove it before repainting.

Answer:
Restore products are made to last and adhere for long periods of time (10-12+ years) with proper maintenance. Deck & Concrete Restore can be painted over with a water based floor paint, a solid acrylic stain, or another coat of Restore. Clean the existing product and apply the new coating.

Answer:
Yes. It should be applied when the temp is 50º F or above. I'd also check the weather report.
It's best if there is no rain forecast for at least 24 hours after you apply Restore.

4 gal. Deck Liquid Armor Resurfacer Water Based Russet Exterior Coating is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I've used this now twice at different homes and have had excellent results. It does take a lot to cover the area adequately and two coats is optimal but well worth the finished results. Nice colors are available to suit your tastes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Terrific! We just finished a 16 x 20 foot deck. It looks wonderful. It seemed to be expensive, however, replacing the deck would have cost a lot more. My advice: follow the directions and you will end up with great results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Restore Coverage Used restore on a 40x40 wooden deck. The first coat was a bear to roll and took more than I had planned on. Second coat went on much easier and covered cracks and splinters to perfection. The deck looks excellent and I would definitely do it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product if the Math works for you... Easy enough to apply. Does take a lot of time to put down the first coat, and a lot of time to dry! Wonderful results. Tough as nails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lot a work but worth the effort. I spent a considerable amount of time prepping and cleaning the deck before using this product. I purchased 4 buckets at Home Depot for $78 per bucket for a 670 sq ft deck. I followed all the directions and used 2 of the recommended rollers. The second coat was more difficult to apply than the first. I took my time and spent the entire day on this project. I allowed 5 hours to dry before the second coat. It's way early in the game but I am pleased. Well let me say that my wife is pleased, so then by default, so am I.
