Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product but some modifications needed to turn out great First of all, this product is very thick, too thick to efficiently cover stated square footage right out of the package. Easy fix is to thin it out with water so it's like pancake batter and mix it very well with a rotary paint mixer and a drill. Second, it's not easy to spread and roll on with the 9 inch roller on decking that is 5-6 inches wide. Use the smaller rollers and then spread the product on with a large paint brush first and then go over it with the roller to get a consistent texture applying it to one board at a time. Third, if you push too hard with the roller using the RESTORE naps, you will get slanted lines every few inches from the naps cardboard seam. Overall, this is a great product once it's applied and cured for a few days. I absolutely love the textured feel and it did wonders for my aging deck surface! It's very skid resistant and should help with kids running on a wet deck from slipping. June 8, 2012
