Will this fit in Home Depots 15" wide unfinished oak base cabinet.

Asked by: Art
Let me add some clarity to this. If the cabinet says it is 15" wide then it probably means the overall width is 15". Outside to outside. However this cabinet has a frame around the opening (called a faceframe). This will most likely reduce the cabinet opening to 12" This product is 15" wide so it will not work. You would need to look that the product is around 11" wide or the 5349-1527DM-2

19 in. H x 15 in. W x 22 in. D Double 35 Qt. Pull-Out Brushed Aluminum and White Waste Container is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from extremely durable A well built product, adds very nice look to the kitchen. that being said it is a bit of work to square up inside your cabinet even with the included template, and if your cabinet has a bottom lip that will have to be cut off where the rails meet the face which their is no mention of or instruction for. again very nice, well built, you can tell it will hold up, worth the price

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Need to buy the extension brackets for better installation The instructions were OK for installing the waste containers. The extension brackets that are ordered separately did not have any instructions and took some time for me to figure out where they went. Worked out OK and seems to be a nice product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great trash/recycle hardware The only reason I don't recommend this is due to the extra $80 I paid to have a retractable closure. The regular one would have made me more than happy and, I would have saved the $80 and therefor given it 5 stars. The quality is great. It feels solid when using it, unlike the one you would buy in the store like we did our first time. I went on the recommendation of a review a customer had given that the product was great, but wished she had invested the extra money for the retractable closure. Not to regret her decision, I invested in the retractable closure. It's just wasn't worth it to me. I am a female in my mid-50's, and not saying that a female can't install it, you certainly can, but I did need assistance, from my brother-in-law who is a good handyman, attaching the cabinet door to the hardware. There is a template that does help, especially for attaching the hardware to the inside of the cabinet. It made it very easy and fast to install. For some reason it took a good hour longer than I expected to install. There was a lot of measuring to make it just right. He is very meticulous, but I wanted it done right. For this reason, I gave it 4 stars due to the installation. Take it for what it's worth, but maybe if my cabinet door wasn't so heavy, I wouldn't have to give it a harder push or a second push to get it to close. If your cabinet door is lighter, having the retractable closure may be worth it not to have it bang when you close it. I could take it back but maybe I'll get used to it. I really don't like giving it a 2nd push to close it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall very good Our only concern that there isn't enough support where it attaches to door and will eventually come loose & fall off
