Can you show a schematic with EXACT dimensions. It seems odd that this would be designed to be exactly 1" deeper than most standard cabinets.

According to those, this is a rear mount unit. If the back panel on your cabinets are less than 1/2" thick, you will need a 1/2"x3" minimum piece of furring attached to the back of the cabinet to which the glides will mount.
The instructions say nothing about what to do if the brackets end up inside the face Read More

22 in. H x 18 in. W x 25 in. D Double 50 Qt. Pull-Out Wood Top Mount Waste Container for 1.5 in. Face Frame Cabinet is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Specs & instructions Researching this product before buying left doubt as to whether it would fit in the designed space for my cabinet. I had to order and receive the product before building the cabinet. When I went to install the product I found the directions were not as detailed as I thought they should be for I product that most users would only install once. As I completed the install I found that the slides would not stay together due to the face frame size having to be slightly smaller than the 18 inches specified. An eighth inch shim was all that was needed to correct the problem and then it worked very well. I do not know whether the problem was with the manufacture of this unit only but suspect that it is common to all units of this model number..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Horrible Instructions I ordered 2 pull puts for my trash and recycling. I didn't think the height would be an issue until it arrived and saw how tall the trash cans were. The instructions were horrible, 3 languages on 1 page. No luck on finding a video either. So I screwed the back braces onto a furring strip then screwed the furring strip to the back of the cabinet. I then attached the pull out unit to the back braces. You want to make sure the pull out unit has the same space on each side of the opening of the cabinet or it will give you door placement issues. If your cabinet is wide like mine you will need to add support blocks to place between the rails and the side of the cabinet, when you pull out the cabinet there are holes in the slides to screw it in. I saw a video online about the door instructions which made it easier unless your unit is off center. If it is off center like one of mine you will need to add a shim to prevent drilling through the cabinet door. I did need to cut 1/2" off the brace between my door and drawer to accommodate the pull out but I made sure the door would cover it before cutting. It did take 6 hours to do all this figuring out, adjusting, and getting everything just right. But I am very happy with the results!
