broke within a week. Home Depot replaced and we are now on our second one. The ball bearings in the track are plastic and popped out, and the track bent within the 1st week. This product should have metal ball bearings and a track that is made to handle the weight. So far the replacement is working fine. My overall impression is that my original one that came with our home was of far better quality. I had it 15 years and the track never bent or broke. This new version isn't made with metal ball bearings, and hence the track is far more fragile to heavier weight or being pushed down.... so users must be far more careful. I would only recommend this product if you must replace, and if you have measurement restrictions like I did. This is the only one that fits for my dimensions needed. It does pull out smooth and fit nicely....again, just can't have heavy items put in or be pushed down or track will probably bend or bearings will pop out.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by ArtNJ Very easy to install
Installed the tracks easily on existing cabinet bottom slab. Slotted mounting holes allow easy alignment of tracks. Synthetic ball bearings provide smooth and quiet movement of basket. I did not use front-mounted door as shown in illustration; my under-sink cabinet had hinged door which I left alone.

The unit was easily installed. Directions took a little figuring out. The mounting is firm and the unit slides in and out firmly as well. Be careful in taking measurements in determining your spacers to ensure the screws hit the thick part of the cabinet door.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by Chicago works as advertised
Purchased and installed this, along with the door mounting kit, two months ago and works great. We fill up the bin pretty much every-other-day, and it continues to pull out smoothly and close flush. No problems. Time will tell how it will hold up, but so far so good. If you also buy the mounting kit, it has two installation options - one is tricky and requires some math to get the bracket exactly where you want it on the door. Too complicated and unnecessary for most cabinets. The easy way, which works well, means you "eye up" where you want the bracket to install on the door, use the included double-sided tape to temporarily stick it in place, then install for real. Even the easy way can be slightly challenging if you are not at all handy.

it worked so well I purchased another type for under the sink storage. You need to let people know they need an adapter for door mounted applications. You can not get one for the door mount application anymore you have to place a separate order.
