Answer:
According to the specification sheet the RETE-9 is ideal for fast, continuous hot water at a lavatory or sink. The RETE-18 or 27 is designed for fast, continuous hot water in a bathroom addition/renovation or single shower. Follow this web link for specification sheet for out tankless products.

Will this product work in the uk? I've seen one of the previous questions asking if the twin breaker of 220v will work? as your single phase is 110v. our single phase is 240v. is the live terminal on the product a single terminal?

Answer:
We do not know what the power requirements are for the UK and the warranty would not be valid since it would be installed outside the fifty states (and the District of Columbia) of the United States of America.

I have a twin 30 amp breaker on my 220v service to my old water heater. Is this a 60 amp service or only 30?

My old tanked water heater used $420 in energy per year! I am looking at tank less but am not sure my current wiring will handle the load of this unit. Not sure if a twin 30 amp is referred to as a 30 or a 60 amp.

Thanks in advance.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 52 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product Very happy with this as my choice of tankless water heater. Easy to install and operate. Perfect for my utility sink in my shop. When turned up, water will get scolding hot if you turn faucet on low flow. The faster the flow the lower the temp. That's how these heaters work. You can get pretty hot water with a decent flow with this model. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good and hot Live in South Florida with high temp ground water and this unit is running a sink just fine. It was installed in an office with a shower also but no one has used that yet but so far the unit is doing all that it said it would. We had to switch breakers and have a professional install it but it uses so much less room then the tank we had previously that it's great and now we are not heating an excess of water everyday. Only problem we had was we had to order twice because the first box that came to home depot from the factory was so beat up and obviously a return that we refused it. I was amazed that Rheem would send out something that looked like that. We then had to wait another week for the next special delivery and that one was fine. July 26, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It exceeded my expectations I had some concerns if the water coming out of the kitchen tap would be hot enough but it was hot enough to be uncomfortable. I didn't measure temperatures but the incoming water is the coldest this time of year so it should be piping hot in summer. February 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Far better than most other point of use water heaters. So far the unit has done what I need it to do. I was not able to run a new hot water line to the sink that it now serves and this unit fit the bill. I t was not difficult to install as I was simply replacing another point of use water heater which failed after only a few months. The one I replaced was a sealed plastic unit and did not have any temp. settings, the new unit has a temp setting which gives you flexibility as water supply temps in this region can change with the seasons. This new unit also has copper and brass internal parts, cant go wrong with this type of construction. Its only been in use for about one month yet I believe I made the right choice. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tankless Works great really like it can set temp when using the dishwasher July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very satisfied I was concerned, as previous reviews of this heater were mixed, and the chief complaint was that it does not produce hot enough water. I installed it for an outdoor shower with a 1.5 GPM shower head and have been very happy with the result. With the heater set at about 80%, the shower water is 105F and I have to mix in a little cold water for comfort. Ground water here is about 68F, which helps significantly, and the 1.5 GPM shower head is key. It takes about 10 seconds to get the water up to temp, and after that it remains consistently hot. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Installed quickly. Hot water in a few seconds!!! Love it. Hot water in seconds, now the dishwasher works much better. Only problem was pulling a 220 volt line through the basement ceiling across the house, then drilling through a 6-inch concrete floor. But this was not a problem of the heater. May 18, 2016
