this product is easy to replace but that about the only thing good about it . it does not last any longer than the roll type and cost as much. with the roll type you can cut it to the size you need.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rehmy GREAT for WEEDS
These trimmer strings make weed-eating EASY. I use them for areas around the irrigation ditch where the weeds are tough and thick. They make cleaning up a breeze.

This line was very brittle. Also, it barely fit into the holes of the pivotrim head, so when the line would break, it took a significant effort to clear the line from the holes. I had to watch the line carefully in order to remove the old line before it broke off...not worth it. The original red line is the best; lasts the longest and is the most durable...don't waste your time and money on this line.

I am pleased with this product. I was able to replace the precut trim line very quickly. This product I recommend very highly.

Much better than the plastic string things, that break so easily. The Pivotrim is extremely tough, and can cut thru deep grass, hit rocks and bricks and NOT break.....unlike the string products that break in the slightest bit of resistance. And its a hassle replacing the plastic string.
