My Rion greenhouse is everything I could want it to be. I was afraid that I would have trouble finding a hobby greenhouse which would withstand high winds and heavy snow. My home sits atop a large hill and wind gusts of up to 70 and 80 mph are a common occurance. We experienced heavy snow fall this winter and my greenhouse roof suported nearly a foot of heavy snow. Heres the kicker. I purchased my Rion Greenhouse used, it is ten years old! I was able to disassemble, transport, and reassemble the complete structure by myself. Durability and simplicity of assembly. I would challange anyone to show me another unit with more value for the dollar!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Backyardgardener Don't buy Rion
I purchase my Rion Grand Gardener greenhouse a year ago and I have had nothing but problems during the assembly process including broken parts, terrible assembly instructions and poor customer support. My problems began when I received the greenhouse and there were broken parts - which was not a surprise because it is shipped in several large boxes with no packing material for protection. Later during assembly, I broke two parts and in both cases I had a very difficult time with customer support in trying to get the replacement parts - it took several e-mail & phone messages just to get someone to respond! The assembly instruction are not for the faint at heart - in fact they have no "Instruction" at all - just pictures that can be very difficult to interpret. If you can overcome all of this - the end product is a fine greenhouse. I like the dual pane opaque panels, the skylight and louver window features plus the interior height not found on other greenhouses.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by KaylaT Very Frustrating Experience
I have had an extremely difficult time with the assembly of this greenhouse. I've done all the recommended "helpful tips" to get the pieces to fit together, double/triple checked the instructions to make sure the pieces they are telling me that are supposed to fit together are indeed the correct ones and yet this has been a very frustrating and bruising experience! While some of the design is easily assembled the "snap in" bracing for the roof is very bad design. This is NOT a weekend project.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dirtman A very durable well engineered construction.
I was able to purchase a used rion green house, 8 1/2' x 10 1/2'. I was very concerned as to whether it or any other green house would withstand the freaquent 70 to 80 mph wind gusts on top of the hill where I live. I am super impressed with the durability of this structure. It also has withstood the weight of ten inches of wet snow. I truley love my Rion Greenhouse.
