Customer Reviews

Hobby 8 ft. 6 in. x 16 ft. 8 in. Premium Package Green Frame Greenhouse-DISCONTINUED is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase and very solid unit I've used this greenhouse for 2 full seasons, and am very pleased. It has held up through 60 MPH winds, snowstorms with up to 24" of snow, tornado warnings, & golf ball sized hail. I've had a few problems but none I can blame on the product. My employees assembled it wrong and that is the cause. I've had to reinstall a window panel 2-3 times because of their fault. I also had to replace to roof vent twice but on my own fault. I recommend closing the roof windows in the high winds or you will replace them. Definitely make sure you read the instructions and build it right and you wont have any problems with this unit. Make sure you build the base first before assembling the greenhouse. My employees didn't and they had problems moving it. When I saw them trying to move the greenhouse onto the slab I poured, I noticed they didn't have the base installed. This caused them to spend 2 days installing it instead of 1 or less then 1 days time. The base will support it as your building it, otherwise it is hard to assemble and will fall apart if you don't have 4-5 guys moving it onto your slab. Set the base wherever you want to install it, whether a slab or on the ground, and you should be all set to build away. I cant say how the installation went because I wasn't home the first day but I can be sure to say there wouldn't have been a second day of installation if I were there. My employees just didn't read the instructions well and didn't know I had purchased a 16' and they built it according to an 8'.
