Product Overview

Rite Lite LPL601XLGRC wireless LED picture light is the perfect light to highlight artwork, pictures or diplomas hanging on the wall. The white LEDs are super bright and last up 100,000 hours. The light operates on 3 AA batteries (not included). The remote operates on 1 CR2032 battery (included), therefore no wires or installation is required. More importantly no more messy wires hanging from the bottom of a beautiful piece of art. The metal finish makes this light museum quality. The adjustable light heads rotate independently to point light exactly where you need it. Easy one-touch on/off switch with selectable dimmer. Mount the picture light easily with the screw mount bracket which slides off easily to change batteries. Picture light includes a wireless remote control - turn the light on from anywhere in the room. Remote control can even be mounted on the wall to use like a "light switch”. A great multi-use light perfect for home or office.

I don't think any manufacturer of this type of battery-powered LED light sells only the remote. Just use the remote from the other light. It should work - they seem to be interchangeable.
I have found that remotes I already had for OTHER LED lights - that look identical will work. The alternative is to purchase another inexpensive LED light and use the included remote.

I found that a remote control from ANOTHER LED battery-operated light from a DIFFERENT manufacturer WILL control this one as well. So if you have the little generic, white remote as shown in the product photo, it most likely will control all battery-LEDs of this type.

Remote must be within about 3 feet to work. You won't be across the room putting on a light show... :) Read Less

The light goes dim after about 15 minutes, but will remain on for something of a lighted effect. But a dinner party where you want people to study - eh, depends on supporting light. Mine is a dark hallway with NO light source in the hall - other than light from bathroom or bedrooms off the hall.
Best thing is to order a couple and test it out - buy good batteries and leave them on to see what you get. Read Less

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 41 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value for the price! I wanted something easy and removable for hallway art on the walls. I think everyone is hunting for battery-operating lighting to avoid the expense and time of hard wiring. Some battery-operated work out and some do not. While I would have preferred the brushed nickel color, that one does not have a remote control. But I can easily spray paint it whatever color. REMOTE CONTROL is a plus because I don't want to get on a ladder to turn the light on/off. LIGHT QUALITY is good for a battery-operated. BATTERIES must be quality batteries - dollar store batteries are OK, but burn out faster and go dim faster. I started using a quality rechargeable and it does really well. Hope this hel See unedited phone pix below. October 9, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This product remote, gold, did not work if you were more than two feet away. Advertised to work up to 12 feet away October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LED picture light Very good for the price. Light from LED has desirable warm tone. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice light. It's bright and controllable. The light was easy to put up because it had a built-in level. I like the dimable feature. September 27, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by As advertised Wish it were a little brighter. It looks great and was easy to install. September 27, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Okay, Just Barely The picture light is attractive and blends well with the picture frame. The light however does not illuminate the entire picture no matter how it is adjusted. The bulk of the illumination is on the frame and top of the painting. Not really happy but don't want to spend $200 to get something that really works. September 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Disappointed with the battery pack being so visible and the color of the light. I will use it, but not on featured works. I had a hard time getting th batteries to go all the way in.It was missing the mounting screws August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wireless Picture Light Never having had to use a picture light before, this one does the job. Bright enough. The remote is weak and must be used very near the fixture. July 26, 2016
