It looks like it only shows laying vinyl to what looks like vinyl. I think I need to remove vinyl because of discoloration around toilet from overflow months ago. I suppose it is dry by now but afraid it may mold, etc.. later

I'm looking for something stronger than the double sided tape that comes with the wiremold cord protector (http://www.homedepot.com/p/UT-Wire-15-ft-Cord-Protector-with-3-Channels-Beige-UTW-CP1501-BG/203377712). I need to stick the cord protector to ceramic floor.

Thank you for your inquiry.
The adhesive is strong enough to adhere to the ceramic tile, but the tape is a mesh and we do not feel it will work well in this application.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 29 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent tape !! Easy to use. Worked beautifully. Cut my vinyl out to the shape of my kitchen floor, laid it down in the kitchen then peeled back each corner towards the middle and smoothed vinyl floor outwards. Used on all edges. Floor looks marvelous!! Took maybe 15 minutes to lay kitchen floor after it was cut out. I highly recommend this product. March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Two sided tape It was pretty easy to put down after you got a used to it March 29, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible product. Doesn't stick on clean surface Used to stick down pvc bed liner to new van floor, clean surface. This tape wasn't sticking to it. Bad, bad, bad January 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sticks Like Glue I was advised by HD associate to use this tape to install new vinyl sheet flooring and I'm glad I did. If you just clean up the foundation a little, this stuff will do the job. It is even good for bonding paneling to sheetrock before nailing. I can imagine a whole bunch of uses for this double sided tape. It looks like thread when you run out a piece and press it to the floor. When the paper is removed it leaves a checker board like pattern of sticky threads that hold like crazy. You place it an inch from the edge of the flooring and out in the middle as much as you think you need. HD had a quick tutorial on their computer screen, and Youtube has dozens of videos. Easy to clean off your hands and tools. December 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Vinyl two way tape Worked as advertised. Use it to lay vinyl flooring in a bathroom. Would highly recommend it to all. December 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This tape made the floor look like a professional installed it. I laid down the vinyl and it fit but bubbled up along the edges where it touched the base boards/trim. I didn't want to start shaving off the edges in 1/8 inch slivers so I laid down the grip tape and the floor laid flat. It looks great. Added some molding and I am very proud of this project. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Seems Great Installation complete, we will see how long it holds up to this north Texas heat (102 today) but so far it is working great! August 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works well Used the tape to hold down the linoleum floor that was installed in my kitchen. They don't glue it anymore so it was coming up in spots and this took care of it. April 7, 2015
