I want to put cork flooring in my 5th wheel and want to insulate floor from heat and cold as much as possible to keep heating and cooling expenses down since I live in AZ. Was considering cork underlay. I am on limited income and have to do it as cheap as possible.

My bedroom has a couple of imperfections (high points). Can I lay this foam underlayment over the floor and use interlockable vinyl instead of laminate as my flooring?

Answer:
This underlayment is very thin and will not help with floor imperfections or uneven areas. I would suggest using a self leveling product prior then using this product.

My house has no subflooring. Has old deck boards that run sideways with gaps. Can I lay this material over the hardwood and lay laminated flooring down? I don't have the cash to rip up and replace the floor, trying to fix for the winters! It's too drafty!! Thank you!!

You can but depending on what floor choice you are selecting to use you may need to lay additional sub floor prior.

Answer:
As long as it is a solid floor your laying over (gaps shouldn't matter, unless they are pretty large gaps) I don't see any reason why not

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install. Quality built Was a pretty straight forward install. Just 4 screws in the screen frame to your door frame... seems to be good quality. I would buy it again. August 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It works We purchased this item to go under some cheap laminate. It is very thin. It worked okay for what we needed but I would spend a little more to get something a bit thicker next time. August 16, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by foam laminate Product rips easy had to staple in some spots and tape rips. Needs extra care when installing. August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good, inexpensive product that gets the job done. This is a fraction of the cost of some of the other products that do the same thing. It doesn't come with tape on the edge, but the amount of tape I used to connect the pieces cost only pennies, compared to doubling or tripling the price of this product for the convenience of a piece of tape on one side. July 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Underflooring Worked wonderful, will use again if I put laminate down again. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome! This underlayment went down very easily and does exactly what it says. It provides very good soundproofing for our floors too. July 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by foam laminate underlayment item is exactly what I expected good quality, just wish you had in stock at upper darby store July 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for the price Underlayment is very basic but does the job. Why purchase the expensive brands when this does exactly what it's supposed to do and what is required by manufacturer? Definitely worth it. June 28, 2016
