I ordered 900 sq ft of Pergo flooring and 240' of base shoe trim. I specified that the trim be nice and straight and not all scarred up and was assured it would be so. When the delivery was made, I was very disappointed with the products. The Pergo comes in boxes without a cardboard bottom so the built-on padding on the bottom piece is exposed. Well, on many boxes, it was all torn up. The base shoe appeared randomly selected. Many pieces were scarred and defective. Had to return all the base shoe. Apparently, when the HD warehouse guys pull an order, no attention is given to the integrity of the product. It's all about "hurry up and get it done". This is not good customer service.

Comes with an adhesive strip that holds one end in place while laying out the remainder. Thick enough to walk on without incident.

It did what it was supposed to do, and the installers used it effectively.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Townhouse123 Good product only if you have good installers
The product works very well as a moisture barrier at a good price, but all the folds make it difficult to install. We purchased this underlayment at HD with our engineered hardwood, which we installed in our living room over concrete. However, we used Home Depot services to install the floor and their rushed (and mistreated) subcontractors had trouble installing the floating floor over the folds from the underlayment. We wanted to have them do it over, and did not sign that we approved the install, but they left and we filed claim after claim but never got a repair from HD. We were left with several "crinkly" spots in the floor - every time I walked on those areas, I felt a slight give and the crunch of the plastic underfoot. Who wants a wood floor to feel like walking on plastic? Yuck. Note that we also had the floor completely leveled before the install. I lived with the soft spots for a year and they never settled. This week our house flooded and we had to remove all the flooring. I confirmed that the underlaymnet was installed with wrinkles in the "bad" areas. However, even in where there was still standing water underneath the floor, not a drop got past the barrier and the concrete was dry everywhere but the corners of the room. So the water barrier definitely works even in extreme cases. I am now looking to buy all new materials for the reconstruction - I can't decide if I want to buy this product again or not because of the difficulties of the install had by the "professionals". I really really don't want to get crinkly floors again.
