I had to continue some hardwood flooring in Phoenix on a home we just purchased. The previous owner laid glued down hardwood. I needed about a bucket and a half of this stuff to do about 265 SF. It works well and it easy to use. Just a 1/8" trowel and slap the boards down. It does create a very quiet walking surface as opposed to having a vapor barrier or nailing it down (nailing was not an option, laid on a solid slab). It's a little pricey and doesn't go very far in dry climates (nature of living in the desert) but all in all a great glue.

When my husband decided he wanted to have wood floors installed in the "man cave", I was a bit hesitant. I wanted nice, plush carpeting but he was going for a sleek, classy look. Really looks high end. The floors are down and they look great! It's a durable product that has made the man cave welcoming to the whole family.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by fredN Good flooring adhesive
This is good adhesive for engineered hardwood floors. Work time is fairly short so we did one "row at a time". Work in time is about 20 minutes. Use a 1/4 "V" trowel as recommended, and applied over wood sub.
This product is- very- sticky, but if you wipe it up from the top of the wood surface right away with a wet rag, it will come right off. But - If you wait until it dries, it will be tougher (we used goo-gone to get it off after it dried). That worked fine.
We were able to get about 200 sq ft of coverage per this 4 gallon bucket, again, with the 1/4 inch "V' Trowel.
Floor was walkable after drying overnight and looks great. No loose boards and good coverage.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by PipsGirl Taffy texture, quick tack time
We ran out of the adhesive we purchased from another lumber seller. My husband ran to HD to pick this up. The texture is like a fluffy taffy. Make sure you are ready to lay your boards when you spread this. It becomes tacky very quickly and makes it hard to wiggle the boards around. Try not to get it on your skin- I am on day 2 of peeling off glue from my hands.
I would say that a little goes a long way with this glue however and at first I preferred it's thicker texture since I could scoop and spread instead of pouring and then going back to spreading.
This is not our first floor, but our first engineered wood.
We are DIY and not professionals.

The product was great. I laid engineered hardwood using this glue. Used 3/8” trowel as recommended, I found I did not get the coverage the instructions indicated that I would get using this size trowel. I do blame myself for using too much of the glue. I found troweling ahead of the pieces you should only do a very small area. I also back buttered the wood. The glue seemed to setup a little too fast, reason for a small area. Which I felt was a good thing. This was the eight flooring job, but the first time I used glue. The wood was installed on concrete, little over 400 sq. ft. While it has only been four weeks, the floor looks great, no buckling, and no problems.
The price wasn’t that bad. The store associate recommended this one over the other two glues in stock. Can you believe it this was the cheapest. Usually they recommend the most expensive one, being the best product or not.
Cleanup, everyone’s concern was so easy I just couldn’t believe it. I was looking for six stars but could not find the button. Because the glue setup so fast I didn’t want to clean up while I was installing the wood. At first, I did but I found it wasn’t necessary. A damp cloth after I was finished installing the floor, and this was hours, the glue wiped right up. And with very little effort. Don’t get me wrong I wasn’t sloppy, I was neat and clean, but you always have that little mishap.
The color and consistency was that of butterscotch pudding. I wanted to stop and have desert. The glue stayed where you put it, didn’t run nor was it hard to spread out.
I gave the 'ease of installation' four stars only because it setup so fast. It was really easy to use.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DIYguy Nice stuff, easy to spread, easy to clean up
Nice water-based stuff. Much easier to spread compared to urethane-based glues, fundamentally easier to clean up
