The product was great. I laid engineered hardwood using this glue. Used 3/8” trowel as recommended, I found I did not get the coverage the instructions indicated that I would get using this size trowel. I do blame myself for using too much of the glue. I found troweling ahead of the pieces you should only do a very small area. I also back buttered the wood. The glue seemed to setup a little too fast, reason for a small area. Which I felt was a good thing. This was the eight flooring job, but the first time I used glue. The wood was installed on concrete, little over 400 sq. ft. While it has only been four weeks, the floor looks great, no buckling, and no problems.
The price wasn’t that bad. The store associate recommended this one over the other two glues in stock. Can you believe it this was the cheapest. Usually they recommend the most expensive one, being the best product or not.
Cleanup, everyone’s concern was so easy I just couldn’t believe it. I was looking for six stars but could not find the button. Because the glue setup so fast I didn’t want to clean up while I was installing the wood. At first, I did but I found it wasn’t necessary. A damp cloth after I was finished installing the floor, and this was hours, the glue wiped right up. And with very little effort. Don’t get me wrong I wasn’t sloppy, I was neat and clean, but you always have that little mishap.
The color and consistency was that of butterscotch pudding. I wanted to stop and have desert. The glue stayed where you put it, didn’t run nor was it hard to spread out.
I gave the 'ease of installation' four stars only because it setup so fast. It was really easy to use.

This is good adhesive for engineered hardwood floors. Work time is fairly short so we did one "row at a time". Work in time is about 20 minutes. Use a 1/4 "V" trowel as recommended, and applied over wood sub.
This product is- very- sticky, but if you wipe it up from the top of the wood surface right away with a wet rag, it will come right off. But - If you wait until it dries, it will be tougher (we used goo-gone to get it off after it dried). That worked fine.
We were able to get about 200 sq ft of coverage per this 4 gallon bucket, again, with the 1/4 inch "V' Trowel.
Floor was walkable after drying overnight and looks great. No loose boards and good coverage.

-4 gal = 150 sqft on 1/4x1/4x1/4" V-trowel (claim 185-220)
-gets on EVERYTHING
In all, it was a good product that was easy to work with. The guy that claims only 50 sqft must have a different floor type and using a different trowel. I had 3/8" engineered and it it lasted about 150 sqft. Could be my technique, I'm no pro.
TIP: cover all your tools in painters tape. THEY WILL GET STICKY. just peel tape off and you're 90% clean.

When my husband decided he wanted to have wood floors installed in the "man cave", I was a bit hesitant. I wanted nice, plush carpeting but he was going for a sleek, classy look. Really looks high end. The floors are down and they look great! It's a durable product that has made the man cave welcoming to the whole family.

Do it yourself project, first attempt at this type of job. Room apx 13 x 11. Used product over concrete slab. It can be messy but that would be the case with any adhesive. Fearing that adhesive would dry up before I laid the Enginereed Hardwoor, I started with 4 rows of 3 inch planks and snapped a line of 12 inches. No problem at all and before the job was complete, I was up to 6 rows. I feared clean up of planks but was surprised to see that mess on wood could be removed with water if done as you go along. Spots I noticed later removed easily with mineral spirits. Room came out beautifu. The trick I learned is to have all your starter boards pre cut and your ending boards the same. Also, I had left over adhesive that was fine when I began Room #2. Loved the product for now but the real test will be a few years down the line.

Nice water-based stuff. Much easier to spread compared to urethane-based glues, fundamentally easier to clean up

Overall good product. Easy to work with and trowels easily. Consistency is like thick mayonnaise. Cleanup with water when wet, rubs off skin when dry or use adhesive remover.
