Product Overview

The Roberts 10-66 18 in. Pro Flooring Cutter is a guillotine-style cutter manufactured to cut precise, clean-edges on all types of flooring materials. The large cutting table stabilizes longer planks while the extendible handle provides extra leverage for more cutting power. This extra power is great not only for cutting laminate and engineered wood but also for cutting a variety of other flooring materials such as vinyl flooring, vinyl siding, VCT tiles, Allure and rubber or foam tiles. The cutting guide quickly swivels and locks in place for accurate angle cuts and because it is fully adjustable, it is easy to maintain perfectly square cuts, even after years of use.

  • Cuts vinyl flooring, vinyl siding, VCT tiles, allure, laminate, engineered wood and rubber or foam tiles
  • Extruded aluminum base with thick plastic surface for stability
  • Guillotine-style cutter cuts up to 18 in. wide and 5/8 in. thick
  • Extendible handle provides extra leverage for more cutting power with less effort
  • Easy lock guide swivels for angle cuts
  • 18 in. replaceable blade can be re-sharpened
  • For laminate, engineered wood, parquet, vinyl, VCT, rubber, foam, PVC and more

Answer:
Good Morning Chell,
You would have to check with your local Home Depot's Rental Center to see if they rent anything that will cut laminate. If you have any more questions please contact us at 866-435-8665. Thanks

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Vinyl floor cutter This is an excellent tool at a more reasonable price than others considered. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeded all of my expectations. Made laminate installation a breeze. I had purchased laminate flooring for a bedroom and upstairs hallway. I started using a saw to cut the laminate... big mistake. I saw the Pro laminate cutter on line and thought I would give it a try. Wow! This thing is amazing! I finished the bedroom then on to landing and hallway... they look great and the cutter performed flawlessly. I'm on to the kitchen floor next, then hardwoods for the living room. I am 68 years old and I can truly say it was fun and rewarding to see the finished product. I saved a bundle on installation costs and still have the cutter, which is like new. Yes, I highly recommend the Pro Laminate Cutter. March 11, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Where are the blade replacement Been looking for a vlade for almost 5 monts cant find one May 4, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Broken These laminate cutters are good cutters if your a home owner and only doing small jobs. They didn't last me three months using them everyday. Every time I would use them it got harder and harder to cut. About a month of cutting the started chipping away in spots. After turning Yhe blade around so it was sharper after that one side kept chipping it broke in half as soon as I tried to use it in the first board. If your looking for quality laminate cutters or engineered wood cutters go with bully tools. A friends of mine which runs his own crew bought his set 15 years ago and only changed the blade once rather the Roberts you have to change every couple of months. Even that comparing to the bully cutters... The Roberts take so much more effort. Get bully cutters don't wast your money on the Roberts. Bully is more expensive but if your looking for a quality tool it's well worth the money. I bought a set and they work great even cut clean enough to butt up to fire places and so forth.
