Laid a 4x4 stairwell landing. I read the reviews so I went extremely thin with the coat. It dried to a clear color in about an hour and a half with fan on it. The tile laid down easily and did not shift. The grab seemed pretty good. almost a month later and the adhesive odor is offensively strong in the stairwell. Nothig is oozing out and I pulled a tile up and it is dry underneath but still a little tacky. How long will it take for the chemical odor to go away or will I need to rip it all up? I'm glad I only laid this small area as a test.

This glue works well to install VCT. You MUST let this and every other VCT adhesive dry completely before you lay the first tile!! Snap your lines, spread the whole floor, go to lunch, stop home and grab the mail, run to the dmv, pickup something for dinner, then.....start setting the floor. Roll the floor out with 100lb roller and enjoy the new floor.

sounds to me like some of these people did not read and follow directions. Don't be in a hurry must let glue dry to where it changes color it gets almost transparent before laying tile. have used this many times and have never had a problem.

The slightest extra glue application will keep this glue from drying. Glue will squeeze out even a week later. This is not a adhesive for small projects. A fan for 4 hours will not set this glue up. Tiles will shift.

We needed to replace tile in a small entry way, 56 sq. ft. I went to the local Home Depot oicked out the tile we wanted and the person there suggested this adhesive when I asked. The floor was stripped and prepared properly. The adhesive applied according to the directions on the bucket, the tiles laid. Two days later the tiles still moved! The paste came up between the tiles! It took 3 days to finally dry.
