Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tony Buy the MS advance + instead
Previously, I used the Taylor MS Advance plus to install 1800 sq ft of 7/16" bamboo flooring. To finish the master bath with the remaining flooring, I had to purchase this product, as the stores don't carry the Taylor product on the shelves. In comparison, this product was thinner, leaving messy strings of adhesive here and there, requiring constant cleanup. Combined with the fact that it is colored brown made it difficult to detect. Another major problem is the amount of waste. The metal bucket containing the product fails to seal completely, resulting in a skin forming on the top of the product overnight. If it was applied too thickly, it tended to ooze between the joints to the surface. The good- it sticks well, the flooring slid into place easily, and it cures/dries quickly. My advice, order the Taylor product instead.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by halophila Beware using this mastic
I recently installed a solid bamboo flooring using the Roberts (R1509-4) Urethane Adhesive and if I could give a “0” for this product I would. BEWARE, do not use this stuff if you don't want damage to the floor finish, especially if your a DIYer. Unless you immediately, and thoroughly clean off finger smudges, glue drips and squeeze-outs the glue will etch the finish. I used this stuff because I wanted to save a few bucks. Bad decision. Plus the glue skinned over in less than 10 minutes so you better have 3 or 4 people working with you. I had previously installed a glue down floor in another larger room using the Morning Star adhesive. The Morning Star glue cleaned up easily with mineral spirits, even after a week, but it was more expensive. I have used everything I can think of from mineral spirits to WD40 with a Mr Clean scrub pad. Even after scraping the glue spots with a razor knife to the finish the etching remains. Luckily the bad floor job is in a back bedroom and will be covered by an area rug. Otherwise I'd rip the stuff out and start over.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Arty very good adhesive
adhesive was easy to use. Bamboo floor was glued to bare cement floor extremely well. some adhesive waste, if not used the 4 gallons on same day. hard to reseal lid tightly and a solid coat forms on top and needs to be removed the following day.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by RevGS7 A sticky mess
I purchased three cans of this very expensive adhesive and the first can I opened had about an inch of hardened glue. I had to use a knife to cut away that layer. This product also expands while exposed to the air so you have to work it quickly and I mean work it. At first it was fairly easy to spread, but the longer the can was open, the harder it became. Another problem with the expanding is after your flooring has been put down and you are several row ahead, you can look back and see it coming up between the boards. What a pain! BTW- make sure you purchase the wipes because if you do not, you will regret it!

I last installed wood flooring about 13 years ago. The old mastic I used then was a lot easier to use than this stuff. This may have more of a cushioning effect but it foams and gets stuck in the cracks and oozes out between edges and makes gaps because it pushes them apart. Or maybe since I am 13 years older I am getting too old for this stuff??

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by FightinTiger Good Product but... next day use....
The bucket that the adhesive comes in once opened cannot be resealed for the next days use. I found that if you place plastic garbage bags in the bucket pressed up against and touching the glue it helps keep the glue from setting. The plastic bag is easily removed and leaving the glue with a thin layer of dried glue that can be removed with a razor knife.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by adambomb This glue sticks!!
I used this glue to install solid bamboo flooring. This glue is very messy so plan on having a gallon of mineral spirits with you. It cleans off easy with mineral spirits but stays on your skin for a few days before it will peel off. Good product and would use it again.

Expensive and messy, but if you follow the directions, the project is a success.
