Can this be used on underlayment to adhere it to the subfloor (wood or concrete) first before laying a bamboo floor?

Underlayment in question is Thermoquiet by Amvic
Asked by: Dkv
Hey Dkv: We did use 1509 on certain spots with underlayment; it worked. Note, we did not use it end to end on underlayment.

4-gal. Wood and Bamboo Flooring Urethane Adhesive is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not ready for amateur use This glue certainly sticks....everywhere ! Difficult to clean up and expensive to purchase also the cleaning wipes are expensive and no one warned us that they were required. My biggest complaint is the amount of waste as the product hardens in the can once opened. I took a hint from youtube and cut plastic discs to lay on the surface which helped, butter still had 25% waste. I regret my decision to glue down the floor insted of nailing as I have done previously. Glue is very expensive, slow and messy. Why isn't it available in 1 gallon cans - which would be perfectly sized for daily batch use. I have purchased 5 - 4 gallon buckets and \Hate it.

The only reason I didn't give it a 1-star review is because it dries very solid and secure. I went with another brand that is thinner and much easier to spread while still having the same adhesion to the bamboo floor I put in.
