Hi JJme,
This product is for vinyl base molding and carpet. Wall tile requires a cement product called thin set.
You can buy premixed thin set at your local Home Depot.

Unfortunately no, this product is no rated for wall tiles, only for vinyl cove base.

You'll need a trowel to successfully install this kind of adhesive.
Use one of the 2 items above to get the tile firmly secured on the wall.

Do I need to put pressure on the vinyl to make it stick to the coving and, if so, how long? Could I use a book or a couple of bricks ?

I should think it would be necessary to hold the vinyl to the 90 degree angle if it is going to adhere to the coving area. Is this true and, if so, how long does it need to be braced there?

Answer:
I recommend using small nails or brads to hold it in place. You can also cut a notch where the vinyl has to bend around corners to avoid it bowing out.

This let us use a sparing amount of pin nails and probably will be much stronger in the long run. Has a good grip and does not drip off. Only slight issue was that even after relieving pressure from the caulk gun, some 2-3 cm of adhesive continued to come out of the tube. Not a huge problem, just a little mess / waste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Come to Poppa Used this stuff for the first time. I was impressed, impressed with how well it adhered. Hint cut all your pieces to size first, this stuff set ups fairly quickly in the applicator, which I was a bit dissatisfied with. It oozed out the side seam.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kitchen project complete! The last step to our recent kitchen rehab was to put up the baseboard molding and an end panel for the island cabinet. This adhesive caulk was used on both. When I re-did the bathroom I used standard adhesive caulk for the baseboards before I found this stuff. The difference that I could see is that this is a lighter composition, comes out kind of like a foam and is not as inclined to drip out of the tube when you are not looking. It dried faster and filled gaps well. I still used nails to tack things in place, but only a few. I had hoped to not have to use nails on the cabinet end panel, but just like the longer baseboard, it needed something to secure it in place while the adhesive dried. Bottom line is that this is good for light weight adhesive projects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong Adhesive Bond for Vinyl Tile I had several self-sticking tiles that didn't stick on their edges because the concrete floor wasn't perfectly flat. I tried putting reqular vinyl tile adhesive down that dried first but still the tiles came up. I removed the tile completely from the floor and put a bead of this Robert 7200 adhesive along the edges and rolled the tiles down with a wallpaper roller. They now stuck tight. I only wish I had started the job with this stuff. Washes off with water and comes off of the face of the vinyl tile for easy clean-up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use with smaller packaging for those smaller jobs. It's hard to get excited about calk guns and adhesive, but this product will glue whatever you need from crown molding to tile to rubber base trim. Just follow the instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The right product for the job I am not handy. This adhesive held the cove base to the wall on the first try, with no fight. If all things went this well, I'd have far less fear doing projects myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good adhesive, works as intended Worked as intended and went further than I expected. Good initial tack helps with installation. Goes on off-white, but dries tan. Cleans up with water.
