Can I use this beneath a click lock bamboo floor?
Asked by: Sach
Yes, just be sure to staple it down if you can, if not it is okay as it has an adhesive on one side.

is this product suitable for regular hardwood nail down installation?

Asked by: Anonymous
That depends on whether the subfloor is concrete or wood. If the planks are nailed into the subfloor, it would puncture the underlayment, which would render its moisture barrier pointless.

Can this be laid over osb subfloor? If so is anything else required to have a smooth laminate finished floor?

Asked by: Ben
I used this for an OSB subfloor without issue. Seemed to help with acoustics as well. The underlayment will make for a smooth foundation to lay the laminate floor but will not make up for high spots. If you don't take care of the high spots, which are usually in the corners of the subfloor, the laminate will have a rocking motion. I was able to sand down the high corners on my subfloor.
