The first time I tried to extend the handle, it came apart. It has never really worked correctly.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by RetiredDinker2 Nice Roller - Should be heavier
This roller is well made and the handle can be extended to full size so you don't have to bend, but it isn't heavy enough to really do much as a roller. I had to really push to feel like it was doing anything for the Allure Vinyl I was installing. I really think it is a waste of money. You can walk on the vinyl and get a better seal. Save your money.

Solid, well made, and worked as one would expect for a simple tool. Installed carpet on concrete floor in two rooms and used this roller to ensure good adhesion. Also used it to ensure a good bond on some laminate countertop that I installed on a workbench. The roller worked equally well on both jobs.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rolf817 It was "OK" , and that's it.
I used this to lay one small room of tile. The room was so small I really didn't want to rent a full size roller and using a kitchen "made in china" rolling pin does NOT work. LOL. This did the job, but by the end of the job the rollers sounded like metal was grinding and I could see it warp when I put weight on it. So, it worked for this small job, but went in the trash when the job was done. So, the yes I would recommend this is based on what I used it for... If you plan a serious job, don't waste your money.
