From you question, it appears that you are wanting to apply adhesive to the wall and not necessarily the cork board. If such is the case, most any paint roller would work; don't get anything too fancy/expensive since you'll dispose of it when complete.

On the other hand, if you are looking to roll over the cork board as you attach it, the Roberts Extendable Floor Roller would work just fine. Its rollers are made of non-marring rubber, it's wide enough to cover a good width, and being extendable allows it to apply good pressure in without needing to get on a ladder.
I have not looked at all the rollers on the market, so I cannot say specifically which one is ideal; I also believe in adapting/using tools for multiple purposes if suited. Read Less

The roller was easy to use and worked straight out of the package with no assembly or adjustments required. It got the job done and the extendable handle made it easier on my back. The only negatives were while being lightweight made it easy to use, you had to push down really hard to flatten the floor seams. Doing so caused tiny flecks of metal to flake off from the roller axles. Overall though the roller got the job done at an affordable price. I would recommend for small DYI projects.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Functional, but poor value This tool is very over priced for what it is. A few flat skateboard wheels on a board would have worked as well and last much longer. It was already starting to wear after rolling a tiny 25 sq ft bathroom

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Roller - Should be heavier This roller is well made and the handle can be extended to full size so you don't have to bend, but it isn't heavy enough to really do much as a roller. I had to really push to feel like it was doing anything for the Allure Vinyl I was installing. I really think it is a waste of money. You can walk on the vinyl and get a better seal. Save your money.
