100 ft. Motorized Hose Reel System is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Robo Reel Looked at a lot of auto rewind units, only RoboReel had all the whistles and bells including unwind assist. Assist unwind is great, but auto-rewind is what sold me and works flawlessly. I have the 100 ft 3/4 hose unit for one year since last spring (2014) and under Washington State winter conditions and it still re-wound flawlessly in the cold, sure a little slower in frigid conditions. I have only charged the battery twice since last year and have been using it a couple times a week. I am engineer by education and this unit was well thought out. Yes, could have articulating front wheels, but I leave my unit in place, so I don't tow it around. Now that I know this unit is a definite winner and not a short lived gizmo, I am buying a couple more for this large property when they come off of back order.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from RoboReel Super product! Two things that need correcting. The front wheels should be swivel to make turning easy. The rope pull in my opinion should have a handle like on a Wagon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 100% as advertised Bought this from Home Depot after doing some price comparison to some online retailers such as Amazon and Brookstone. With shipping to my local store, it came out to be a lot cheaper, even with state sales tax. I figured if it did not do all it claimed, I could return it to the store versus shipping it back. Well, I won't be returning it. A little skeptical at their online promotional videos, especially given the price, but it is definitely worth it. The system has two battery packs for a power source, one to control the hose feed and rewind and another that controls the on/off flow of water. The hose battery is a rechargeable battery pack that just drops right in the main "globe" while the water flow is just a pack of 4 AA batteries which are included! Assembly was pretty much take it out of the shipping box and connect the hose. It does ask that you charge the main battery for at least 6 hours to top it off, but mine had enough juice to play around with it before charging over night. If you have mobility problems or are small framed, the hose motor "feeds" the line to you as you tug it and with the sturdy base, there is no issue with the unit wanting to topple over. I searched for a lot of reviews before making the purchase and the only complaint I found was that sometimes you can hit the water button and it doesn't turn the water on. While I haven't experienced this issue, looking at how the unit is designed, I believe that happens when you are too far away from the water motor since the flow control is not at the nozzle like a traditional hose but at the base unit, controlled via Radio Frequency. You push the on/off button on the nozzel and it sends a signal back to the base unit to open or close the flow. The flow moter does not add any pressure to the water line like a pump, it simply opens or closes the valve to let the water flow. If the nozzle control is too far away from the water control or obstructed by taking the 100+' house around the corners of your house, I can see it not working right. Either that or the AA batteries in the water motor are weak or dead. My only complaint is that I wish the front wheels were on swivel casters instead of having four fixed casters. In a straight line the unit rolls wonderfully with the oversized wheels, but making a turn is a bit annoying. Fortunately with 100' of hose, you won't need to be moving it often.
